The 2022 Cadillac CT5 lineup, including the sporty CT5-V and hardcore CT5-V Blackwing, has received a small price increase after GM raised the cost of the destination freight charge for the luxury sedan.
Going forward, the destination freight charge for the 2022 Cadillac CT5 and CT5-V will be set at $3,195, a $200 increase from the previous price of $1,195. The CT5 in the base Luxury trim level with rear-wheel-drive and the turbocharged 2.0L LSY I4 gasoline engine will now be priced from $38,690, while the Premium Luxury trim with this same engine/drivetrain combination will start at $43,190. The Sport trim level will start at $44,390 with the 2.0L engine and RWD, while the Premium Luxury will be priced from $43,890 with the turbocharged 3.0L V6 LGY gasoline engine. The performance-focused CT5-V starts at $47,290 with the 3.0L V6 engine and RWD.
Rather unsurprisingly, a larger price change is in store for the high-performance Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. This model’s destination freight charge has been bumped up by $400 from $995 to $1,395. That means the Blackwing will now start at $85,390 with the only available supercharged 6.2L LT4 V8 gasoline engine and the standard six-speed manual transmission, while models equipped with the optional GM 10-speed automatic will start at $88,565.
