Notably, diesel-powered Silverado 1500 models saw a price drop at the end of the 2020 model year production run, which then carried over into the 2021 model year. The resulting starting price is $44,000 for the LT Double Cab 2WD model.

The 2020 Silverado Heavy Duty range – which consists of the Silverado 2500HD and Silverado 3500HD – was completely overhauled (redesigned and re-engineered) for the 2020 model year, receiving an all-new exterior, interior, platform, chassis, suspension, and convenience features.

The 2020 Silverado Medium Duty – which consists of 4500HD, 5500HD, and 6500HD – will carry over with a few minor changes and updates, since an all-new model was introduced for the 2019 model year. However, we do expect the model to gain a new gasoline engine option for either the 2020 or 2021 model years.
