2021 Cadillac CT5 Changes, Updates, New Features

The 2021 Cadillac CT5 represents the second model year for the luxury sedan, and receives the following changes and updates:

Exterior

  • Deletion of two exterior color options
    • Red Obsession Tintcoat
    • Royal Spice Metallic
  • Addition of three, extra-cost exterior color options
    • Rift Metallic
      • Only available on V-Series models
    • Infrared Tintcoat
    • Diamond Sky Metallic
  • Addition of 20-inch alloy wheels with a Polished and Dark Android Gloss finish (Q7N)
    • Available on Premium Luxury models equipped with the Diamond Sky Special Edition Package

Interior

  • Addition of Super Cruise, includes
    • Driver Awareness Plus Package
    • Leather-wrapped Super Cruise steering wheel
      • Available early 2021 calendar year
      • Only available on Premium Luxury and V-Series
  • Addition of 12-inch diagonal color reconfigurable driver cluster
    • Not available on Luxury models
  • Addition of Buckle to Drive as a standard feature on all models
    • Functionality: prevents vehicle from being shifted out of Park until driver seat belt is fastened
      • Times out after 20 seconds and encourages seat belt use
      • Can be turned on and off in Settings or Teen Driver menu
  • Addition of Wireless Apple CarPlay/Wireless Android Auto
    • Wired functionality remains
  • Deletion of 8-inch diagonal color Driver Information Center
  • Leather-Appointed seating changed to Leather Seating Surfaces
  • SiriusXM is now referred to as SiriusXM 360L
    • RPO code – U2K
  • Rotary Infotainment Controller now has a jog functionality
  • For V-Series models:
    • Center console decoration trim changed from Pendulum finished aluminum to Twenty-Two Carbon Fiber
    • Steering wheel materials upgraded to Modena leather-wrapped steering wheel with Senza leather-wrapped horn pad

Packages

  • Addition of Technology Package, includes
    • 12-inch diagonal color reconfigurable driver cluster
    • Head-Up Display
      • Not available on Luxury models
  • Addition of Diamond Sky Special Edition Package, which is exclusive to Premium Luxury models and includes:
    • Diamond Sky Metallic exterior color
    • Sky Cool Gray with Jet Black accents interior color combination with unique Diamond Fall seat perforations and Galaxy wood trim
    • 19-inch alloy wheels with Diamond Cut/Midnight Silver finish (Q84)
      • Upgradeable to 20-inch alloy wheels with Polished/Dark Android gloss finish
        • Available early 2021 calendar year
    • Body-color rocker moldings and extensions plus body-color rear lower diffuser
    • Neutral-density tail lamps with gray-tinted transparent outer lens
    • Brembo V Performance front brakes
    • Blue calipers and alloy pedals
  • Navigation and Bose Premium Audio Package no longer includes 8-inch diagonal color reconfigurable Driver Information Center display, still includes:
    • Cadillac user experience with embedded navigation
    • Bose Performance Series 15-speaker premium audio system
    • Wireless Phone Charging
    • For Luxury models, included and only available with Sun and Sound Package
    • For Premium Luxury and Sport models, included with Platinum Package
    • For V-Series models, included and only available with Premium Package
  • V Performance Package is now available on Sport models, and remains standard on V-Series models
    • Still includes Magnetic Ride Control and Performance suspension
    • For Sport models:
      • Require Brembo V Performance front brakes
      • Includes Mechanical limited-slip differential
      • Not available with all-wheel drive
    • For V-Series models, includes Electronic limited-slip differential
  • Driver Awareness Plus Package (without Super Cruise) no longer contains Head-Up Display, still includes

The updates and changes described here are specific to the U.S. market and may be different for other markets.
