2025 Chevy Tahoe, Suburban Will Get Nine Additional Wheel Combinations

General Motors unveiled the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban back in November of 2023, with both full-size SUVs receiving a refresh complete with with new styling, a new interior, a new diesel engine, and several other goodies. As expected, customers will have a wealth of different wheel designs at their disposal. Interestingly, these will include nine new wheel combinations, bringing the total number of wheel combos to 20.

In a recent interview with program engineering manager Steve Kersh, GM Authority executive editor Alex Luft asked about the wheels on offer for Chevy’s refreshed full-size SUVs. According to Kersh, the 2025 model year will introduce nine new wheel combinations, which, in addition to the 11 wheel options carried over from the 2024 model year, brings the total number to 20 different wheel choices.

That’s a lot, no matter how you measure it. In addition, several of those 20 different wheel options will be sized at 24 inches in diameter, as GM Authority was the first to report early last year. Indeed, the wheels on offer for the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban are part of a broader industry trend towards larger and larger wheels – in fact, the VP of GM Design hinted years ago that even 26-inch wheels were on the horizon, although wheel sizing bigger than 24 inches can present a problem for GM in terms of tires.

Stay tuned, as GM Authority will provide a full breakdown of the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban wheel options in the next few months.

As a reminder, the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban offer three engine options, including the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, and the new-for-2025 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine. Both powerplants ride on the GM T1 platform, and both are produced at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.

  2. I wish auto companies would offer that amount of color options instead of just black, white, gray, red and blue.

  3. This made me laugh out loud… The may have 20 configurations on their configurators ( which is ridiculous) but I’d be surprised if more than 3 are actually order-able on not on some kind of constraint. They were lucky they were get enough wheels to produce any 2022 or 2023 Tahoes or Suburbans at all!

6.2L without afm and DI.. cant have that tho… must ensure engine rebuilds
