The GMC Hummer EV will be available with a range of factory accessories, giving customers a variety of ways to personalize their battery-electric truck or SUV. Among these accessories will be Alternate Finish Badges, which will be offered in three distinct colors.
The Alternate Finish Badges for the GMC Hummer EV will replace the factory silver exterior nameplates and badges with Black, Red or Tech Bronze ones. The GMC Hummer EV SUV pictured here features the Tech Bronze finish badges, which match the Tech Bronze accessory D-Ring Recovery Hooks for a cohesive styling upgrade.
On its website, GMC says the Alternate Finish Badges “offer a visual testament to GMC Hummer EV’s rugged spirit with an etched surface to match the vehicle’s accents.” The automaker says the badges will also “fill in the lettering on the Hummer EV pickup’s tailgate for a bolder, 3D appearance.”
Other official GMC accessories that will be available with the Hummer EV from launch include Roof Cross Rails, an Off-Road Accessory Light Bar, Off-Road Pod Lights and the aforementioned D-Ring Recovery hooks. While not a separate accessory, the accessory Pod Lights also double as an easy mounting point for action cameras like those manufactured by GoPro – allowing GMC Hummer EV owners to easily record their off-road adventures.
“The GMC Hummer EV accessories portfolio will be a unique lineup, offering all-new personalization choices that address the needs of extreme off-roaders and advance the convenience and capabilities associated with owning an all-electric supertruck,” Brantley Johnson, accessory product manager for GMC, said in a prepared statement.
The GMC Hummer EV pickup will enter production at the GM Factory Zero plant this fall, with the GMC Hummer EV SUV joining the pickup variant in 2023.

See, no one cares. Most educated moderates know BEV is a political money grab, not a viable long-term green option. Hydrogen is far more energy dense than the materials in batteries… The Hummer is literally a joke.
