First launched last year as Caddy’s all-new, midsize-plus three-row crossover, the Cadillac XT6 is now arriving for the Middle East market.
Buyers will have access to the two opposing branches in Cadillac’s Y trim level strategy, which include the comfort-focused Premium Luxury, and the performance-flavored Sport. The two trims are differentiated by a number of unique features, such as the exterior trim, with Bright Galavano finishes for the Premium Luxury and darker trim for the Sport, as well as the interior trim, with wood for the Premium Luxury and carbon fiber for the Sport. The driving dynamics are also quite different, as we covered previously.
Moving into the interior, the 2020 Cadillac XT6 comes with a long list of optional comfort features, including semi-aniline premium leather upholstery, automatic heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row outboard seats, and heated second-row outboard seats. Buyers can also opt into a 14-speaker Bose Performance Series stereo. Standard spec tosses in an automatic heated steering wheel, as well as a rotary controller with jog functionality to make it easier to navigate the eight-inch diagonal color infotainment screen.
Safety tech is also on point thanks to standard features like Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Alert, and Front Pedestrian Braking. Option safety tech includes Night Vision, Enhanced Emergency Braking, and Automatic Parking Assist with Braking. An optional Head-up Display is also offered.
With regard to the powertrain and drivetrain, the 2020 Cadillac XT6 draws motivation from the naturally aspirated 3.6L LGX V6, which is tuned to deliver 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. The engine mates to the GM nine-speed automatic transmission, and powers an all-wheel-drive system as standard across the Middle Eastern lineup.
The Cadillac XT6 will be offered in several markets where the premium automaker has a business presence, including the U.S., Mexico, Canada, South Korea, China and Russia.

Live to dream.. a 640 hp LT4 supercharged 6.2L V8 engine option because without this engine or the Blackwing V8, there is nothing much to distinguish Cadillac’s XT6 from other GM CUV and that is what is missing from the Cadillac of today and yesteryear.
Sorry, but the XT6 will not be offered in Europe, same with CT4/CT5 and new XT5.
Only the XT4 and hopefully next year the new Escalade will arrive in Europe.
Saw this “thing” at a car show yesterday. I don’t see why anybody would buy this over the Aviator. The entire Cadillac line looks uninspiring compared to anything out there. Who in their right mind buys this stuff?
