Chevrolet Silverado Trail Boss models are off-road-oriented variants that slot above and build on the Z71 sub-brand.
While the off-road-enhanced pickups launched on light-duty Chevy Silverado 1500 models for the 2019 model year, Silverado HD Trail Boss models are not currently available and have yet to be confirmed. However, sources tell us that a Silverado Trail Boss HD is on the way.

Overview
Similar to the light-duty Silverado Trail Boss models and GMC Sierra HD AT4, the anticipated Silverado HD Trail Boss models are expected to be equipped with off-road suspension with a factory lift, skid plates, all-terrain tires, red front recovery hooks, an electronic two-speed AutoTrac transfer case.
An exclusive GM Authority report stated that Silverado HD Trail Boss was under consideration. Then, in 2023, we reported that a Silverado HD Trail Boss is on the way for the 2025 model year.
