2019 Buick Envision Updates, Changes, New Features

The 2019 Buick Envision receives the following changes, updates and new features:

Exterior

• Introduction of new headlights:
  • Addition of projector beam, high intensity discharge (HID) headlamps
    • Available on base (1SV), Preferred (1SD), and Essence (1SL) trim levels
  • Addition of Bi-LED technology headlamps
    • Available on Premium (1SN) and Premium II (1SP) models
  • Deletion of halogen composite headlamps with automatic exterior lamp control
  • Deletion of articulating headlamps
  • Before the 2019MY:
    • The base (1SV), Preferred (1SD), and Essence (1SL) trim levels receive projector beam high intensity discharge (HID) headlamps. On the 2016-2018 Envision, models with these trim levels as well as the Premium I (1SN) trim were equipped with composite halogen headlamps.
    • The Premium I (1SN) and Premium II (1SP) trim levels receive Bi-LED headlamps.
    • The 2016-2018 Envision in the Premium I (1SN) trim level was equipped with composite halogen headlamps.
    • The 2016-2018 Envision in the Premium II (1SP) trim level was equipped with articulating projector beam high intensity discharge (HID) headlamps.
• Addition of LED taillamps with low-profile design
• Addition of Satin Steel Gray Metallic exterior color
• Deletion of Midnight Amethyst Metallic exterior color
• Deletion of 19-inch (48.3 cm) Ultra-bright machine-faced wheels with Midnight Silver painted pockets (LPO-level item)
  • Replaced by 19-inch aluminum wheels (LPO-level item)
• Deletion of 19-inch (48.3 cm) 10-spoke aluminum wheels with premium Manoogian Silver finish
  • Replaced by 19-inch aluminum wheels (LPO-level item)

Interior

• Addition of three new convenience features:
  • Ionizing air cleaner
  • Tire Fill Alert
  • Wireless Cell Phone Charging
• Addition of Dark Galvanized leather-appointed seats with Ebony interior accents
• Deletion of Ebony seats with Dark Plum interior accents
• Replacement of Ice Blue interior ambient lighting on instrument panel and front door trim with White

Mechanical

• The turbocharged 2.0-liter LTG I4 gets a torque increase of 35 for a total of 295 pound-feet
• Replacement of 6-speed automatic transmission with the new GM 9-speed automatic transmission on Premium (1SN and 1SP) trim levels
  • The base (1SV), Preferred (1SD) and Essence (1SL) trim levels continue with the 6-speed transmission
• Single-outlet stainless steel exhaust replaced with hidden, turned-down exhaust on base (1SV), Preferred (1SD), and Essence (1SL) trim levels
