The Chevy Silverado ZR2 offers some impressive off-roading chops right from the factory, pairing that capability with the tough looks to match. Of course, that doesn’t mean the aftermarket can’t upgrade the styling with just the right bespoke touches. Now, we’re getting an eyeful of the Chevy Silverado ZR2 as it sits on a set of Vossen wheels.
Photos of the upgraded Chevy Silverado ZR2 were posted online by the Vossen Instagram feed (@vossen), and show an example of the light-duty Chevy Silverado 1500. The off-roader ZR2 variant was introduced to the light-duty 1500 lineup in conjunction with the 2022 model year.
Right from the factory, the Chevy Silverado 1500 ZR2 offers trim-specific wheel options wrapped in 33-inch off-road MT rubber. However, the owner of this particular model opted for something a bit more custom by way of Vossen’s HFX-1 rollers.
Showing a multi-spoke design with a prominent outer lip, the wheels on this truck are sized at 22 inches in diameter and 12 inches in width, finished in tinted gloss black. The Vossen HFX-1 wheels are available in five-lug, six-lug, and eight-lug configurations, with seven standard finishes on offer. Sizing ranges between 17 inches and 24 inches in diameter, and nine inches to 12 inches in width. Pricing starts at $500 per wheel.
The photos show the new rollers on the Chevy Silverado 1500 ZR2 as the pickup sits parked out in a field adjacent to an old barn. The truck is finished in silver paint, which looks great against the tinted gloss black wheels and cloudy sky above. The tall grass and faded wood of the barn lend the truck a tough and gritty attitude.
