In the week following the global debut of the all-new 2025 GMC Terrain on August 12 in the United States, General Motors has just confirmed GMC’s redesigned compact crossover in the Middle East.
The automaker’s Middle East subsidiary confirmed official plans to introduce the recently revealed all-new 2025 GMC Terrain in the region, representing GMC’s largest submarket outside of North America. The confirmation of the new 2025 Terrain in Southwest Asia follows the model’s official announcement in Canada and Mexico almost simultaneously with its U.S. market debut.
“The 2025 GMC Terrain builds on GMC’s strengths and offers our latest premium technology and safety features while bringing a fresh, bold design to our two-row SUV,” said President and Managing Director of GM Africa and Middle East, Jack Uppal. “With the introduction of the next-gen Terrain in 2025, the entire GMC SUV lineup will be even more extensive, giving customers more choice with the latest design, the best technology, and the best driving experience,” he added.
Specifically, GM announced that the all-new 2025 GMC Terrain will arrive in the Middle East during the 2025 calendar year in the new Elevation trim level with a blacked-out finish that will become the base version of the redesigned crossover. This coincides with the model’s launch strategy in the United States, where the next-generation Terrain will sell exclusively in the Elevation trim.
In fact, emulating the name of the new entry-level version, the company claims that the all-new 2025 GMC Terrain will “elevate” the standard for the compact crossover segment by including more standard technology and equipment than ever before. The configuration includes a higher level of refinement, GMC’s Premium Infotainment system with a 15-inch vertical screen, a complete system of driving assistance systems, and standard AWD traction.
The all-new 2025 GMC Terrain Elevation is expected to officially launch in the Middle East early next year, months after its North American introduction in late 2024. GM did not reveal whether it plans to offer the top-of-the-line AT4 and Denali trim levels in the region once they become available. Regardless, all models will feature the 175-horsepower, 203-lb-ft turbocharged 1.5L I4 LSD engine paired with the 8-speed automatic transmission.

The US Order Guide for this, that was posted on August 16 is MESSED UP! GM posted an updated ’25 Equinox Order Guide on that day too, but it seems OK. On the Terrain, for example, what’s Convenience Package II? It’s never mentioned except that another package includes it…
