Among its list of options, the refreshed 2025 Cadillac CT5-V luxury performance sedan will get a revised version of the Platinum Package (RPO code PCJ) currently offered on the 2024 Cadillac CT5-V, with an increased price and expanded list of contents.
The revised variant of the Platinum Package available for the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V carries a new RPO code as well – ZRG – and drops the prerequisites for the package.
The Platinum Package for the 2024 Cadillac CT5-V is an option priced at $6,540, which contains the elements listed below (RPO codes in parenthesis:
- Cadillac user experience with embedded navigation (IOT)
- Air Ionizer (KEM)
- Rear Camera Mirror (DRZ)
- Hands-Free Decklid Release (TL3)
- Semi-Aniline leather seats
- Sueded Microfiber Wrapped Interior Trim Package (IWE)
- Sedona Sauvage with Jet Black accents (HZK)
- Exclusive Carbon Fiber trim
- UltraView dual pane sunroof (C3U)
It requires choosing the Premium Package (RPO code PCK) beforehand at an additional cost of $3,920. The Premium Package for the 2024 CT5-V consists of the elements listed here:
- 12-inch diagonal HD color reconfigurable driver cluster (UDV)
- Head-Up Display (UV6)
- Illuminating front sill plates (B7G)
- LED front cornering lamps (T87)
- Heated driver and front passenger seats (KA1)
- Ventilated driver and front passenger seats (KU9)
- Heated steering wheel (KI3)
- Driver power lumbar massage (AF6)
- Front passenger power lumbar massage (AKE)
The revised Platinum Package carrying RPO code ZRG no longer requires the Premium Package as a prerequisite before it can be optioned on the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V. In fact, the Premium Package no longer exists for the 2025 model year, with some of its contents folded into the Technology Package (RPO code CWN) and some – including the heated front seats, the heated steering wheel and the massage function for the front seats – now offered as standard features for the 2025 model year.
The revised Platinum Package (ZRG) is priced at $8,595 and consists of the following:
- Outside heated power-adjustable, body-color, power-folding mirrors with driver-side auto-dimming and integrated turn signal indicators (DXR)
- Rear Camera Mirror (DRZ)
- Hands Free Decklid Release (TL3)
- Pollutant, odor and fine dust air filter (K6L)
- Air Quality Sensor (USK)
- Head-Up Display (UV6)
- Adaptive Forward Lighting headlamps (T95)
- Automatic leveling headlamp system (TR7)
- Premium headlamp system (UWN)
- Front Cornering Lamps (T87)
- Illuminated Door Handles (HD7)
- Illuminating Front Sills with Cadillac Crest Logo (B7G)
Pricing for the 2025 CT5-V is set at a starting MSRP of $58,390 for the RWD configuration and $60,390 for the AWD variant, as uncovered by GM Authority. The sedan is motivated by the twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 LGY gasoline engine developing 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque.
The GM Alpha 2 platform supports the Cadillac CT5-V under the sheet metal, while production is set to kick off on Monday, July 15th, 2024 at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan​​​​.
