In August 2023, Chevy Express discount offers remain unavailable on the 2023 Chevy Express full-size cargo and passenger van. Any incentives ended with the previous year’s model.
Chevy Express Discount Offers
There are no Chevy Express discount offers during the month of August, and no special financing or lease incentives either. The Bow Tie brand is referring customers to its dealerships for more details on purchase and finance options for the Express.
Chevy Express Pricing
For reference, here are the 2023 and Chevy Express configurations, trim levels, and their corresponding starting MSRPs are as follows, $1,795 and $1,875 destination freight charge included, respectively:
2023 Passenger Van
- LS – $44,095
- LT – $46,195
2024 Passenger Van
- LS – $46,795
- LT – $48,895
2023 Cargo Van
- Work Van – $39,895
2024 Cargo Van
- Work Van – $42,595
The 2023 Chevy Express represented the 20th model year of the nameplate. For the 2023 model year, the Express and the GMC Savana, its corporate twin, continued with minimal changes, although both dropped the optional 2.8L I4 LWN turbo-diesel Duramax engine.
The 2024 Chevy Express arrives with two new transmissions being the only changes for the Passenger Van, Cargo Van and Cutaway configurations. However, the 2024 Chevy Express cargo van drops the naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine, with the atmospheric 4.3L V6 LV1 gasoline engine the only remaining powerplant offered on that model. Additionally, 2024 Chevy Express infotainment system upgrades are no longer available, leaving the 2024 Express with only a single infotainment option, namely the base audio system consisting of the AM/FM stereo with MP3 player. That system includes an auxiliary jack and two front-door speakers.
Uncovered pricing for the 2024 Chevy Express shows significant increases, ranging from $1,600 to $2,900 (including cargo, passenger, and cutaway models). The destination freight charge also increases by $100 to $1,875.
While the Express and Savana were thought to be discontinued after the 2025 model year, GM now plans to redesign the Chevy Express for the 2027 model year, keeping the ICE powertrain.
Production of the 2024 Chevy Express is scheduled to kick off on September 5th.

Why do they even list passenger van prices when they refuse to build them?
Why can’t we get a answer for ANY questions from General Motors? No one at General Motors knows the answer.
I’ve been wanting to order one for years and every year they drop an option I wanted. Then they added the new motor but didn’t build any? I’ve ordered 3 vehicles in the past. A 1986 Z28 Camaro, a 1989 Astro Van and a 1995 C1500 Silverado. Never took very long to get them.
Stop by a dealer ship and was trying to get a price on an order for an Express Passenger Van and the sales guy kept coming up with different prices and options. I said what are you looking at? He had the previous year on the computer?
I saw on here someone has been waiting two freaking years to get one?
Never Mind
As someone who has actually driven these for hundreds of thousands of miles. Including e150 and e250s (but not transits). They’re beyond terrible with ergonomics and the build quality is absolutely apauling. I’ve had two brand new ones and the window sweeps fell off, doors had to be slammed, stupid quality issues. Once loaded with weight the Express is dangerous sloppy. The e250 ride terrible empty but once weighted down they were fine.
They’re just really, really bad. My 2013 e250 was slightly better than my 2019 express 2500. Had the e250 been more loaded like my Express it would have been a bigger step up, but that van was very base.
GM is just being lazy because they can.
