General Motors unveiled the U.S.-spec 2024 Buick Envista back in April, showing off the Tri-Shield brand’s latest small, premium crossover. Production of the all-new Envista began this past June. Now, potential customers can spec the 2024 Buick Envista using the official online configurator tool at Buick’s website.
Customers have three trim levels to choose from, including Preferred, Sport Touring (ST), and Avenir. Despite its premium appointment and styling, the 2024 Buick Envista is relatively affordable, starting at $23,495 for Preferred trims, $25,195 for the ST, and $29,695 for the range-topping Avenir.
All trim levels are equipped as standard with the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine. Peak output is rated at 136 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, all of which is routed through the GM six-speed automatic transmission, also equipped as standard. Front-wheel drive is the exclusive configuration available.
The exterior of the 2024 Buick Envista takes inspiration from the Buick Wildcat EV concept, and features LED signature lighting in a checkmark design, as well as a broad grille and angled styling lines. Wheel sizing includes both 18- and 19-inch options.
The cabin is also nicely appointed with a broad variety of infotainment and safety tech features. Among these is 19 inches of combined LCD screen real estate with an 11-inch central screen, while the safety features include Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Intellibeam automatic headlights. Further safety and driver assist features are available via package options. On the practicality front, the 2024 Buick Envista offers as much as 42 cubic feet of rear cargo room with the rear seats folded flat.
As a reminder, the 2024 Buick Envista rides on the GM VSS-F vehicle set, with production for the U.S. market taking place at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea. The Buick Envista made its initial world debut in 2022 at the Chengdu Motor Show in China.

If I were in the market for a vehicle of this size and nature, I think the new Trax is a much more compelling choice. The pricing here is excellent, but I find the new Trax more attractive.
Tried configurator yesterday it is sweet for a simple car. But I would still take a hand me down Equinox from my daughter. I saw a Trax on the road the other day, it is small.
Is the 2024 Buick Envista the same car as the Chevy Blazer? It appears to be the same styling.
2024 Envista = 2024 Trax. Blazer is a bigger vehicle.
I am delightfully surprised to see the base Preferred has an affordable and handsome wheel upgrade. Less than $1000 gets you the much, much nicer optional wheels AND a moonroof.
An optioned-up lower trim is very compelling price-wise. A lot of bell’s & whistle’s for around $25K. GM did a great job packaging this (and the Trax), and I commend them for extended option and full color availability even on the lower trim levels. I also commend them for a conventional 6-speed automatic vs CVT. Unfortunately, the 1.3L turbo 3 just won’t cut it for me as I need to tow about t 2,000 lbs. This would be an excellent & stylish commuter however.
This looks like the early concept renderings the automotive media circulated a while back for a proposed Corvette SUV….
Anyone have a clue when these will begin arriving at dealerships? I’m interested in test driving one. I remember seeing the first shipments were sent from South Korea a few weeks back.
