Chevy Red Tag Sales Event Runs During December 2022

GM is running a special sales event for select Chevy products during December in the United States. Called the Chevy Red Tag sales event, this promotion expires at the end of the month and offers an additional $500 off select 2022 and 2023 models.

The following vehicles are eligible for the $500 bonus cash on top of existing allowances, as follows:

• 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 – $1,500 total cash allowance on models with the 2.7L L3B I4 engine
  • $500 bonus cash + $1,000 discount
• 2022 Chevy Equinox – $1,500 total cash allowance
  • $500 bonus cash + $1,000 discount
• 2022 Chevy Blazer – $1,250 total cash allowance
  • $500 bonus cash + $750 discount
• 2022 Chevy Malibu – $1,000 total cash allowance
  • $500 bonus cash + $500 discount
• 2022 Chevy Colorado – $750 total cash allowance
  • $500 bonus cash + $250 discount
• 2022 Chevy Silverado HD – $1,000 total cash allowance
  • $500 bonus cash + $500 discount
• 2023 Chevy Traverse – $1,000 total cash allowance
  • $500 bonus cash + $500 discount

It’s important to note that this sales event will expire on December 31^st, 2022 and is not available with select other incentives. Additionally, customers must take retail delivery by January 3^rd 2023 for the offer to be valid.

This sales event comes on the heels of other, similar promotions. Last month, GM ran the Chevy Cyber Cash sales event, which offered $500 off select popular 2022 and 2023 models. In order to claim that offer, prospective customers had to obtain an online code, which was available towards the purchase or lease of qualifying vehicles. This offer could be stacked onto most other existing incentives, and expired on November 30^th, 2022.

Before that, GM ran Chevy Truck Month sales event in September, which offered a $1,000 Accessory Allowance toward the purchase of a new 2022 Silverado 1500, Silverado HD, or Chevy Colorado with eligible accessories, in addition to various cash allowances on the 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500, Silverado HD and Colorado. Customers were offered a $500 cash allowance toward the purchase of a 2022 Chevy Silverado equipped with the 2.7L L3B gasoline engine, as well as $750 toward the purchase of a 2022 Chevy Silverado HD or Colorado.
