The online configurator for the 2023 Buick Envision went live on the premium crossover brand’s website this week. This web tool allows prospective Envision buyers to select their preferred exterior and interior colors and view various options and equipment packages on the crossover. At the end, they can receive a complete pricing breakdown and summary of their build, which they can download to bring to their dealership or send online.
One of the few changes applied to the Buick Envision for the 2023 model year is the introduction of a revised exterior color palette that traded the Satin Steel Metallic (paint code GIR) and Burnished Bronze Metallic (paint code GR8) exterior colors for the new Moonstone Gray Metallic and White Frost Tricoat exterior colors.
The 2023 Buick Envision will continue to come equipped with the turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder LSY gasoline engine, which is rated at 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The four-cylinder is paired with the GM nine-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to either the front wheels as standard, or all four wheels as an available option. The crossover received a revised fuel economy rating from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for the 2023 model year, with the city miles-per-gallon rating falling from 24 mpg to 23 mpg, however the engine remains unchanged from the preceding model year.
The 2023 Buick Envision is produced exclusively at the GM Jinqiao plant in Shanghai, China. GM had originally targeted a production start date of April 4th for the 2023 Buick Envision at the Chinese facility, as we reported previously, but later delayed the start of regular production (SORP) until August 1st.
Pricing for the 2023 Envision starts at $34,795 including the destination freight charge for the entry-level Preferred trim with front-wheel drive. This price also includes the new mandatory three-year OnStar Connected Services plan. Click here to access the online configurator tool.
