Last month, it was revealed that the 2023 Cadillac CT5 would be available with a new Bronze Accent Package, bringing bronze-accented wheels to the luxury sedan, along with various bronze exterior trim pieces. GM Authority has now learned this package will also be extended to the sportier 2023 Cadillac CT5-V, giving buyers of the more performance-focused sedan another way to personalize the vehicle.
Tagged with RPO code PDJ, the Bronze Accent Package will add the following equipment to the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):
- 20-inch Black wheels with Bronze accents (RPO SKW)
- Decals (RPO 5K2)
- Bronze center cap (RPO 5ZD)
- Black wheel lug nuts (RPO SPY)
- Black wheel locks (RPO SPZ)
Pricing for this new-for-2023 cosmetic package has not yet been confirmed by GM. We’re also still awaiting photos of the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V equipped with the above-mentioned bronze accented wheels and trim components.
Production of the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V, as well as the closely related CT4-V, will begin on July 11th, 2022. Production will once again take place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan, where the four-door is also built alongside the standard Cadillac CT5 and CT4, as well as the Chevy Camaro sports coupe.
Power in the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V will continue to come from the twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 LGY gasoline engine, rated at 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. The LGY engine mates exclusively to the GM 10-speed automatic transmission in the sedan, feeding either a rear-wheel drive system or all-wheel drive system.
On a somewhat related note, GM has also decided to make the Driver Assist Package optional on the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V. Another key change in store for the 2023 CT5-V is the addition of three new exterior paint colors, which replaced three outgoing hues.
