General Motors has launched a new Radiant Package for the 2021 Cadillac XT4 compact luxury crossover.
Available on the Cadillac XT4 Luxury and Premium Luxury (but not the Sport), the Radiant Package contains the following features:
- Monochrome Cadillac emblems (RPO code SFZ)
- Galvano grille with Galvano finish (SIA)
- 20-inch split 7-spoke alloy wheels with polished finish (SHH)
- P245/45R all-season tires
The last two items replace the 10-spoke alloy wheels (Bright Silver finish for the Luxury, Pearl Nickel finish for the Premium Luxury) and P235/60R all-season tires fitted as standard.
The Radiant Package is priced at $2,595. Each item is available separately as a standalone LPO (dealer-installed) accessory, but this is not worth considering if one is looking to get all of the items in the package. In the case of the Luxury and the Premium Luxury models, the monochrome emblems cost $175, the grille $550 and the wheels and tires $1,995, coming to a total of $2,720, or $125 more than the package.
It is very nearly possible to order a Cadillac XT4 Sport with the Radiant Package, since the wheels, tires and monochrome emblems are offered for that trim level too, at the prices mentioned above. However, the Galvano grille is not available for the Sport, so such a vehicle would have to be created by ordering and installing the grille after taking delivery of the vehicle.
The Cadillac XT4 is now in the third model year of the first generation. In North America, all versions are powered by the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY turbocharged gasoline engine rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The boosted four-pot is paired with GM’s nine-speed automatic transmission. Every trim level features front-wheel-drive as standard, and all-wheel-drive as an option. The entry-level XT4 Luxury FWD is priced to start at $36,790, including destination charge.

The xt4 needs the “go back to the drawing board package”
I love those wheels. They look so good. In each color they’re offered too.
About time! Hopefully this is a sign that the Radiant pkg is about to be released for all the other models as well! We have been trying to order our 2021 Luxury Premium Platinum Escalade w/the Radiant pkg since Oct. Our dealership said GM had a constraint on both the Radiant & Onyx pkgs with release dates TBD. Hope this means they’re finally coming out of hiding!
To set it apart, gm needs to do something drastic like make this package standard on all xt4. Start giving people more than the other brands. To many better options out there.
Both pics of the one without and with the package look nice. I will say that I like the packaged car just a little more, but not a fan of the monotone emblems. Anyway, can you imagine how nice that would look with painted silver around the wheel wells and less black plastic around the entire vehicle?
Thanks Dan! Those are exactly my thoughts! And quite probably, if the wheel-well trim was painted, I would have bought one a year ago. There’s just too big of a space between the tire and the fender lip to have black trim. You know, they may have later on during/in the development, decided on the black trim to lower the cost, and never bothered to actually see that it’s not aesthetically proportional.
And yes, that would be my first Cadillac, and I would be proud of my accomplishment to the point where I’d prefer a legit emblem! Incidentally, if I do purchase one in the near future(and not wait, hoping that the new model will have the painted trim), all the items in this pkg are what I would have exactly selected, including the exterior silver color.
