Compared to last month’s featured offer, the headlining Cadillac XT5 discount in March is more generous, as it includes both special financing and a cashback rebate of up to $6,500. Interested parties should note that the headlining incentive applies to 2019 XT5 models, while the purchase discount isn’t as enticing on the 2020 models.
Notably, the cash offer is even more appealing than the $4,000 discount offered in January, which was one of the largest ever offered for the nameplate.
Incentives
The nationwide Cadillac XT5 discount offers during March 2020 are as follows:
- 2019 XT5 Retail Offer: $6,500 cash allowance
- 2020 XT5 Retail Offer: $2,000 cash allowance
- 2020 XT5 Finance Offer: 0 percent APR for 60 months + $2,000 cash when banking through GM Financial. Not available with some other offers.
- 2020 XT5 Lease Offer: $1,000 toward the lease of a new XT5
- To qualify, buyer must show proof of current Cadillac lease through GM Financial. Not available with some other offers.
- Ultra-Low Mileage Lease offer is $546 per month for 39 months
- $0 down payment, $0 security deposit
We should note that all of the incentive offers listed above will run through March 31st, 2020.
For reference, here are the XT5 trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs, $995 destination charge included:
2019:
- Standard – $42,690
- Luxury – $49,490
- Premium Luxury – $55,190
- Platinum – $66,890
2020:
- Luxury – $45,090
- Premium Luxury – $49,790
- Sport – $56,090
Applied to a base 2019 XT5 with a starting MSRP of $42,690, the headlining $6,500 Cadillac XT5 discount drops the price of said model to $36,190. The interest-free financing would extend the savings by several thousands, though the exact amount is dependent on the purchase price.

About Cadillac XT5
The Cadillac XT5 is a premium luxury crossover that replaced the Cadillac SRX in the Cadillac range. The XT5 slots between the compact Cadillac XT4 and upcoming three-row Cadillac XT6 in the Cadillac lineup.
Currently in its first generation, the XT5 was introduced for the 2017 model year. The vehicle is based on the regular-length wheelbase variant of the GM C1 platform shared with the second-generation GMC Acadia and upcoming, future Chevrolet Blazer. A longer-wheelbase variant of the same platform underpins the second-gen Chevrolet Traverse and Buick Enclave.
For the 2018 model year, the XT5 received several new exterior colors, a new "base" trim level that offers all-wheel-drive, the Rear Seat Reminder technology, and various new accessories.
For the 2019 model year, the XT5 deletes four existing exterior colors to make room for four new ones, while making a couple package-level changes: the Driver Awareness Package becomes standard on the Luxury model while the Driver Assist Package becomes standard on the Platinum model. Two sets of 20-inch wheels become available. In addition, the 2019 XT5 receives a new, second-generation wireless smartphone charging system that is higher power is now compatible with Apple iPhones. Finally, Provence leather replaces micro-suede on the mid-panel of the instrument panel.
The 2020 model year will deliver a mid cycle update that includes revised trim level structure (adopting the Cadillac Y trim level strategy), slight revisions to the exterior design, a few small updates to the interior, and the introduction of a 9-speed automatic transmission in place of the 8-speed unit on the 2017-2019 models.
The XT5 is produced across the following GM plants globally:
- GM Spring Hill factory in Tennessee operated by GM USA supplying North America, Middle East, Europe, and Russia
- Cadillac China Jinqiao factory operated by Shanghai-GM supplying China

Comments
I bought a 2019 XT-5 almost a year ago and love it. Dealership treated me right and service has been first class. No warranty issues yet, just regular service. Fuel economy is very good.
Live to dream.. who wouldn’t pay for more performance, if only this had a LF3 twin-turbo 3.6L V6 to offer some excitement because Cadillac’s XT5 performs not much differently than every other CUV made by General Motors that’s equipped with a 3.6L V6.
Except the new 2020 that they raised the price of by $2400 NOW has a 2.0T 4 cyl as std… so you need to upgrade, IE spend more, to get the 6… GM never ceases to amaze with their less value for more $ strategies… pathetic…
