The 2025 Chevrolet Traverse receives a variety of small changes for the second model year of the crossover’s third generation.
These changes follow the 2024 Traverse, which received a complete overhaul (re-engineering and redesign) and launched the third-generation model.

- Deletion of three trim levels:
- 1LS
- 2LS
- 1FL
- Addition of two new trim levels:
- High Country 1LZ (FWD)
- High Country 2LZ (AWD)
This makes the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse trim level lineup the following:

Exterior
- Addition of two wheel options
- 22-inch aluminum wheels (RVD)
- Standard and only available on High Country
- 22-inch Bright aluminum wheels (LPO SAK)
- Only available on 1LT and High Country
- 22-inch aluminum wheels (RVD)
- Deletion of removable trailer hitch (LPO SDE)
- Deletion of Not Equipped with Heated Wiper Park (R6G)
- This option was used to designate vehicles not equipped with the Heated Wiper Park feature as a result of constraints
Interior
- Cloth seats (H8K) removed from Z71
- For the 2024 model year, cloth seats were available for Z71
- For 2025, Evotex (leatherette) is the only available option for Z71
- For the 2024 model year, cloth seats were available for Z71
Mechanical
- 170 Amp alternator (KW7) deleted
- For the 2024 model year, 170 Amp alternator (KW7) was standard on LS and LT trim levels
- For 2025, the 220 Amp Alternator (KW5) replaces 170 Amp alternator as standard across on all trims
- For the 2024 model year, 170 Amp alternator (KW7) was standard on LS and LT trim levels
Driver Assist Technology
- Three Years of OnStar Remote Access (PRF) has been replaced with Eight Years of OnStar Basics plan
- 2024 MY OnStar Remote Access Plan delivers simplified remote control of a properly equipped vehicle and unlocks a variety of great features in the myChevrolet mobile app
- For the 2024 model year, PRF was standard on all trims
- 2025 MY OnStar Basics Plan includes core OnStar services including remote commands, built-in voice assistance, real-time traffic and navigation, and Automatic Crash Response
- For the 2025 model year, the OnStar Basics Plan is standard on all trims
- 2024 MY OnStar Remote Access Plan delivers simplified remote control of a properly equipped vehicle and unlocks a variety of great features in the myChevrolet mobile app
