2025 Cadillac Escalade Gets New Latte Metallic Color: First Look

Three new exterior colors have been added to the 2025 Cadillac Escalade as GM refreshes the nameplate at the middle of the cycle, with a fourth hue – a special, as-yet-unrevealed matte color – to follow later in 2025. The three initially available colors consist of Aegean Stone, Deep Sea Metallic, and Latte Metallic, with Latte Metallic getting a detailed look from GM Authority here.

Identified by color code G5D and touch-up paint number WA-615G, Latte Metallic is described as “a modern light bronze with elegant metallic effect” by Cadillac. The 2025 Cadillac Escalade boasts a total of eight colors at launch, with the following list of exterior paints on offer (mostly as extra-charge options):

  • Argent Silver Metallic (GXD)
  • Black Raven (GBA)
  • Crystal White Tricoat (G1W)
  • Galactic Gray Metallic (G6M)
  • Radiant Red Tintcoat (GNT)
  • Aegean Stone (GBD) (New for 2025)
  • Deep Sea Metallic (GXP) (New for 2025)
  • Latte Metallic (G5D) (New for 2025)

Latte Metallic can be selected for the 2025 Cadillac Escalade at a cost of $625 additional, and is a metallic, non-tintcoat exterior paint color. It is offered on the Premium Luxury Platinum and the Sport Platinum trims, but is not available with the Luxury, Premium Luxury, or Sport trims of the vehicle.

As a result, Latte Metallic can be ordered only in conjunction with the interior colorways offered on the top two trim levels. These include Jet Black, Whisper Beige with Jet Black accents and Sheer Gray with Jet Black accents.

Notably, the interior colorways for the 2025 Cadillac Escalade consist of the following colors across all trim levels:

  • Jet Black
  • Brandy with Very Dark Atmosphere accents
  • Renaissance Red with Jet Black accents
  • Whisper Beige with Jet Black accents
  • Whisper Beige with Gideon accents
  • Sheer Gray with Jet Black accents

Pricing of the 2025 Escalade, as GM Authority previously revealed, starts at $89,590 for the rear-wheel drive configuration of the base Luxury trim and climbs to a starting MSRP of $121,890 for the Sport Platinum trim equipped with four-wheel drive. The official configurator is offered on the Caddy site to choose options such as paint colors or the new Executive Second-Row Seating Package (RPO code RBV).

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade draws motivation from the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine rated at 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The General axed the previously offered, optional 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine for the 2025 model year thanks to very low demand.

Under the body panels, the 2025 Escalade is supported by the GM T1 platform. Start of regular production took place on Tuesday, October 8th, 2024 at the GM Arlington Assembly plant in Texas.
