As for the powertrain lineup, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine is standard, while the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine is no longer offered with the launch of the 2025 model year. Meanwhile, the go-fast Escalade-V is powered by the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine.

Every unit of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade rides on the GM T1 platform, while production takes place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.

  3. Not a fan of the odd looking front end, the deletion of the diesel which gave this an advantage over Lincoln or the insane prices these things go for. And for the fantasyland prices they command reliability needs to improve ton the powertrain and the electronics!
