Introducing the next model year after the refresh debuted for 2024, the 2025 GMC Sierra HD features mostly minor changes in most regards, with only a handful of more significant updates. One of the changes is the removal of three GMC Sierra HD wheels previously offered for the 2024 model year, with only one new roller style added to the lineup of 2025 GMC Sierra HD wheels.
Each of the seven trim levels of the 2025 pickup, consisting of the Pro, SLE, SLT, AT4, AT4X, Denali and Denali Ultimate, has its own standard style of GMC Sierra HD wheels. Several optional wheels are also on offer, including six LPO or dealer-installed styles.
The range of 2025 GMC Sierra HD wheels includes 17-inch, 18-inch, 20-inch, and 22-inch wheel diameters. Factory-installed optional wheels are priced at $300 to $1,400, with one option reducing price by $1,100 when ordered in place of the standard wheel choice. LPO wheels are priced anywhere from $2,950 to $5,375.
Notably, the three GMC Sierra HD wheels eliminated from the available lineup for 2025 include the 20-inch machined aluminum wheel with bright Silver accents (RPO code Q7R), the 20-inch multi-dimensional Chrome aluminum wheels (RPO code SKW) and the 20-inch Chrome aluminum wheels (RPO code SHL). The 20-inch Bright face wheels with dark painted pockets (RPO code Q7J) have been added for the model year.

In addition to changes to the 2025 GMC Sierra HD wheels, Redwood Metallic (color code G48) has been retired from the heavy-duty pickup’s palette of exterior colors. Additionally, the 1SA Pro Safety Plus Package (RPO code PQA) for the Pro trim level and the Sierra HD Pro Safety Plus Package (RPO code PED) for the SLE trim level now include the Front Park Assist feature.
The newly available, optional Universal Vehicle Module (RPO code KGU) is another 2025 addition, enabling upfitters to expand the truck’s functions. Pricing starts at a base MSRP of $48,295 for the Regular Cab, Long Bed configuration of the 2500 HD Pro trim equipped with RWD and the L8T gasoline V8 engine. The costliest variant, starting at $102,295, is the 3500 HD Denali Ultimate with the Crew Cab, Long Bed DRW setup and the L5P turbodiesel engine.
Two engines are available across the 2025 Sierra HD lineup, specifically the naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine developing 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque offered as standard, and the 6.6L V8 L5P turbodiesel Duramax engine rated at 470 horsepower and 975 pound-feet of torque and available as an optional choice.
The GM T1 platform provides the bones for the Sierra HD, while the truck rolls off the assembly line at the GM Flint plant in Michigan.
Comments
So sad that you pay $80k or more for a truck and you still have to buy aftermarket wheels to make it look nice. I believe Gm can certainly do better if they just try a little harder.
The second ones and the last ones are ok, pass on the rest.
