Here Are All The 2025 GMC Sierra HD Colors

Only minor changes and updates are being introduced by the 2025 GMC Sierra HD pickup following the 2024 mid-cycle refresh of the nameplate. Several of those changes are a reshuffling of the available GMC Sierra HD colors in the exterior paint palette offered for the model year.

Specifically, the Redwood Metallic (color code G48) paint option was retired from the 2025 GMC Sierra HD colors, after it was built out on the 2024 model year in June. No replacement was added to the lineup of GMC Sierra HD colors, leaving nine paints on offer:

Six of the remaining GMC Sierra HD colors are offered on each of the pickup’s seven trim levels, including the Pro, SLE, SLT, AT4, AT4X, Denali and range-topping Denali Ultimate trims. The offering of exactly six exterior color options on each trim may be part of The General’s Winning with Simplicity strategy.

Only one of the 2025 GMC Sierra HD colors, Summit White (color code GAZ), is offered as a no-charge option across all seven trim levels. Other paint colors are priced mostly at $495 additional, with the tintcoat priced at $645 and the tricoat color carrying a price tag of $1,095. The table below presents prices, availability, color codes, and other pertinent info:

In addition to dropping Redwood Metallic as one of the 2025 GMC Sierra HD colors, the truck will also have three less wheel choices, with one new set of rollers added for the 2025 model year. Other changes introduced with the model year changeover include the addition of optional Front Park Assist as part of the 1SA Pro Safety Plus Package (RPO code PQA) and Sierra HD Pro Safety Plus Package (RPO code PED) for the Pro and SLE trim levels respectively.

Furthermore, the Universal Vehicle Module (RPO code KGU) is offered as an option on all trims, enabling upfitters to customize several functions of the pickup truck. The Adaptive Cruise Control with Trailering (RPO code KSG) system will be equipped as standard on four rather than the previous two trim levels and offered as an option on the other three.

Turning to motivation, the truck cradles one of two available engine choices under the hood, the naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine churning out 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque or the 6.6L V8 L5P turbodiesel Duramax engine developing 470 horsepower and 975 pound-feet of torque.

The Sierra HD rides on the GM T1 platform for the 2025 model year as well, while production of the truck continues to take place at one facility – the GM Flint plant in Michigan.
