Exactly one year after confirming Buick’s refreshed compact crossover for Mexico, General Motors has just officially launched the 2024 Buick Envision in the Latin American country.

The automaker’s Mexican subsidiary launched the refreshed 2024 Buick Envision in the domestic market of that country, continuing the renewal of Buick’s product portfolio with the brand’s new global image. In fact, the 2024 Envision arrives with a revised exterior design, a refurbished interior, next-generation connectivity technologies, and more standard safety features than any other vehicle in Buick’s history.

“The refreshed Buick Envision stands out for its well-thought-out technological attributes and intuitive luxuries, as well as for a precise driving style that will provide our customers with an immersive sensory experience,” said Marketing Manager for Buick in GM Mexico, Teresa Vera. “This SUV shows the new era of Buick and its philosophy ‘Exceptional by Design’, with which we celebrate the history of the brand and move towards the future,” she added.

In Mexico, the refreshed 2024 Buick Envision will be offered in Sport Touring (ST) and Avenir trim levels, but not Preferred. As such, the 2024 Envision units for the Mexican market feature a suite of class-leading technological and safety features, such as the 30-inch 6K curved display and the most comprehensive suite of safety assistance systems.

Both 2024 Buick Envision variants are equipped as standard with the model’s only available powertrain in North America, consisting of the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY engine that develops 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque and GM’s nine-speed automatic transmission. They also feature AWD as standard, along with three driving modes: Tour, Sport and Off-Road.

The refreshed 2024 Buick Envision will be available at official Buick dealerships in Mexico starting in July, when the first units of the model are scheduled to be delivered in the country. Customers will be able to choose the crossover in seven exterior colors, a total of 16 available original accessories, and a 3-year/60,000-kilometer (37,282-mile) comprehensive warranty. Here is pricing for the two 2024 Envision trim levels in the Mexican market:

  • 2024 Envision ST: 942,000 pesos (about $50,799 USD at the current exchange rate)
  • 2024 Envision Avenir: 1,016,000 pesos (about $54,790 USD)

  1. At least make it in America, do people in Mexico need awd. Who’s the brains behind this decision

    1. Huh, the Chinese workers who build this are making great cars…why would you wanna change that? As for AWD……have you ever heard of “torrential rains”? (Much like is happening in the Yucatán currently)

    2. Most of Northern Mexico and some parts of mountainous or central Mexico gets snow every year, heavy snow, snow that destroys gutters and shelter-in-place orders

It is a North American country and shares the same weather patterns as the rest of North America.

As well as heavy rain and even tornados

Even Chinese vehicles offer AWD now in Mexico, vehicles like the GAC GS8.

  2. Avenir model looks well-equipped. Similar to my 2023 model, but with the technology mine was supposed to have. I feel a bit left out here.
