As for the mechanical bits, all 2025 Buick Enclave models cradle the turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 gasoline engine, which produces a maximum of 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. The four-cylinder mates to the GM eight-speed automatic transmission as standard. Under the skin, you’ll find the GM C1 platform.
Production of the 2025 Buick Enclave will take place at the GM Lansing Township plant in Michigan next month.

I like both the ST and Avenir. Wish they gave 21-inch wheels as a free option on the Avenir. 22s are too large.
I live in the north east I’d much rather have the 21 inch wheel I would take 19 inch if they had them.
I had planned on buying a 2025 Enclave, but a 4cylinder with a turbo makes it a no thanks. Looks like if I want a 6 cylinder, which I do a foreign company whether Europe or Asia is my only avenue. Shame on GM.
the new 4 cylinder has more hp and torque than the outgoing V6 and is based off an architecture that has been out for a while, I don’t really see the issue. It’s not like they’re only giving you the 2.0 turbo
Most manufacturers are now using turbo fours in their large SUVs. Grand Highlander, TX, Q7, Atlas, Explorer, Nautilus, etc. You will find a few examples aside from Telliride/Palisade, like the Pilot, MDX, CX-90, Aviator, some pricier BMW and Benz still hanging on to the V6 but not sure for how much longer. Tech is moving forward and the fours are high performing, towing capable, torquey, good quality products.
Speaking from personal experience, being on my third XT6 2.0L turbo four and second Q7 turbo four, they are responsive, quiet, economical-ish, and do the job just fine. We’ve had multiple V6 & V8s prior. It was the same conversation that everyone had when all the manufacturers went from V8s to V6s. In time, the four will be the norm. As it stands now, people were complaining that the new small crossovers were using three cylinder engines and now they are some of the strongest sellers in the marketplace. We adapt. There are bigger fish to fry than how many cylinders are in my grocery getter.
Tom C don’t buy a Kia/ Hyundai they just went through a massive recall for their V6 breaking down.
What’s with the Toyota or whatever front grill?
We own a 2019 Buick Enclave (6cyl) and love it. When the time comes to replace the car it won’t be with the hideous looking Enclave GM is set to roll out. Just my personal opinion but did GM hire some Toyota people? This new front fascia certainly isn’t thinking outside the box.
That front end looks like something out of one of those Cars movies. To Tom C’s point, the 4 cylinder would not be a deal breaker for me if I could get past the front end of the new model. (Which I can’t)
I have what I believe the same engine in my ‘23 Colorado (Turbo 4) and shocked at its power and performance and owning it for 12 months now.
GM did a great job with this engine. If only the designers could have done as well.
Again, just my opinion.
Thanks Jim finally somebody gets it and if your that bothered by engine noise turn the radio up!
The Enclave seems to be following suit with the rest of Buicks new design cues. Definitely personal opinions will vary, but I love the new front aggressive styling and the upscale backside of the ‘25. The prior style looks aged now to me. Still pretty, but needed a facelift.
I agree. I prefer a 6cyl, but can live with a 4cyl on the Enclave. I can’t get over the design especially the front end and the interior selection. Only black and a very light brown/gray on the Avenir. We have kids and dogs and can’t see that light color holding up for long. I loved the chestnut brown on the prior Enclave Avenir. I would also be okay with that pretty orange color available on the outgoing Lacrosse. Even a blue leather would be exciting. I hope new interior colors are coming down the line….
I can find no place that states if there is any sort of spare tire, I absolutely WILL NOT purchase anything with run flats and no spare, We live in remote area and the run flats are a total no go
