Expectations

We expect the following major changes and updates from the 2025 Buick Enclave:

Exterior
- Completely new sheetmetal on the same general wheelbase and footprint as second-generation (2018-2024) model
  - New front end with Buick’s latest design language and dual-tier headlight treatment plus the new Buick logo
  - New bodyside styling, with Buick’s latest surface development
  - New rear end with dual exhaust outlets
- New wheel options up to 22 inches
Interior
- Overhauled cockpit, with a new curved screen spanning the gauge cluster (instrument panel) and center stack screen, per exclusive GM Authority reporting
- Right hand steering column stalk will serve as a digital gear selector, much like the unit in the Cadillac Lyriq
- All-new steering wheel, including shape, form factor and button layout
- Substantial amounts of “free and open” space in the center console to include room for cups, a wireless phone charger and holder, and more
- Seven- and eight-passenger seating configurations will be on offer
Tech
- Large curved screen will serve as gauge cluster and center stack screen
- Super Cruise will be an available option
- 5G connectivity will be standard
- Rear Camera Mirror will be available across the range
- GM Global B electrical architecture
Powertrain
- Turbocharged 2.5L I-4 LK0 engine developing 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, developing slightly more power but much more torque than the atmospheric 3.6L V-6 LFY in the outgoing model
- 8-speed automatic transmission to handle gear shifts, replacing the 9-speed unit in the outgoing model

Platform

The 2025 Buick Enclave will ride on an updated version of the GM C1 platform shared most directly with the third-generation Chevy Traverse and third-generation GMC Acadia. The architecture will be mostly a carry-over from the prior-generation model.

A shorter variant of the C1 platform underpins the Cadillac XT5, second-generation GMC Acadia, Chevy Blazer, and Cadillac XT6.

Availability & Production

We expect the 2025 Buick Enclave to go into production in early Q1 2024. Production will take place at the GM Lansing Township plant in Michigan.

Note that the model being discussed on this page will be exclusive to North America. In China, the Buick Enclave is a different vehicle with smaller dimensions.
