One new exterior paint color joins the available colors for the 2024 Chevy Blazer, with Riptide Blue Metallic added to the lineup for the model year. Here’s GM Authority’s in-depth look at the Riptide paint color.
Identified with color code GJV and touch-up paint code WA-121J, Riptide Blue Metallic is one of nine paint colors offered for the 2024 Chevy Blazer, providing a total of 14 combinations with the (RPO code 41T) Black-painted roof, as shown below:

- Copper Bronze Metallic
- Iridescent Pearl Tricoat
- Iridescent Pearl Tricoat with Black Roof
- Nitro Yellow Metallic with Black Roof
- Radiant Red Tintcoat
- Radiant Red Tintcoat with Black Roof
- Red Hot

- Riptide Blue Metallic (new for 2024)

Riptide Blue Metallic is available as a no-charge option on all four available trim levels of the 2024 Chevy Blazer, including the 2LT, 3LT, RS, and Premier trims. The color, when combined with a black roof, is offered only on the RS trim level and is priced at an additional $550.
Riptide Blue Metallic can be ordered in conjunction with all five of the Blazer’s interior colorways.

The 2024 Chevy Blazer cradles one of two available powerplants to provide motivation. Specifically, these are the turbocharged 2.0L LSY I4 gasoline engine developing 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and the naturally aspirated 3.6L LGX V6 gasoline engine rated at 308 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque.
The base LSY engine is equipped as standard on the 2LT, 3LT and Premier trim levels, while the LGX powerplant provides standard power to the RS and is offered as an option on the 3LT and Premier trims.
Beneath the skin, the Blazer is supported by the GM C1 platform. Production of the 2024 Chevy Blazer is currently taking place at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico.
