Corvette Convertible Wins Strategic Vision 2023 Total Quality Impact Award

While the C8 Corvette is offered in several configurations with different levels of performance, one consistency across the entire lineup is the choice between either a coupe or a convertible. Now, the Corvette Convertible has been recognized with an award as a high-value proposition for owners.

In Strategic Vision’s 2023 Total Quality Impact measure, the Corvette Convertible was named as the winner of the premium convertible / roadster category. This indicates that the Vette made customers feel as though they were getting a great deal of value for their vehicle.

“The domestics, especially GM, have made significant improvements in their vehicle experiences by increasing perceived quality,” Strategic Vision Senior Vice President Christoper Chaney claimed. The Chevrolet Blazer, for example, not only has the fewest incidence of problems, but also provides strong exterior styling and driving performance resulting in the most fun-to-drive vehicle that they can trust in its segment. Of course, other GM vehicles performed similarly, especially the Yukon which also led by delivering Excitement, Fun, Individuality and Trust. This is the right combination, giving GM owners of these vehicles the highest sense of quality.”

It’s worth noting that General Motors had the second-most winners behind Hyundai. Also awarded were the Chevy Blazer, GMC Yukon and GMC Sierra HD.

“Most vehicles sold today do not have the problems of things breaking the way they did decades ago,” Strategic Vision President Alexander Edwards stated. “So instead, customers equate quality to all of the ‘things-gone-right’ in their vehicles which include other experiences such as dealership treatment and the overall Value the customer believes they are receiving. HMC vehicles not only delivered fewer problems, and strong quality in areas of seat comfort, power and pickup and safety-related driver-assist features, but when combined with their warranty, price point and delivered features, inspired consumers to report the feeling that their vehicles are ‘second-to-none.'”

  1. Is the Convertible Corvette C8 a great value ? yes.
    Awesome retracting hardtop.
But you do not get to see the engine.
And the engine may not be much to look at.
But still, I like it under glass . And I like the convertible.

    1. Have a 2021 C8 convertible and love being able to road trip with luggage AND have the top down. Rather than having a lift-off sunroof eating up nearly all of the trunk space.

Personally, after seeing my engine once, why would I need to see it again? Certainly can’t see it when I am driving anyway.

  2. A fantastic car I own a 2021 convertible,I also owned a 1967 and a 1968 ,both convertiblrs,and I can tell you,
    there is no comparison!
The C8 beats the older ones in every category, hands Down, and I say,the C8 is so far ahead of the competition,as the 1963 was, when it first arrived.
Nothing even comes close to it. That’s why,it’s winning all the awards!

  5. Of course it beats the older Vette’s They were cool at the time but technology has come a long way. Had a 69 and the wind noise and water leaks were unreal. Still have my 71 Z28 I got new. Thought it was really nice but it is nothing like my ZL1. We just didn’t know any better back then. The thing I dislike the most about my C8 ZO6 coupe is that you can see the motor. Even one has to try to look in there leaning against the 1/4 panel. ✌️

  6. GM did a great job with the new gen Vett
One of the things that I like is the drive modes.
Did you ever stand behind the car during a startup while in track mode?
    Wow it’s loud.
