2023 Chevy Silverado HD Pricing Increases $1,000 Over 2022 Model

GM has applied a minor price change to the 2023 Chevy Silverado HD lineup, with the base price of the nameplate set to increase by $1,000 across the board over the outgoing 2022 model.

With this change, the price of the 2023 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Regular Cab in the entry-level WT trim level and equipped with the 6.6L V8 L8T engine and rear-wheel drive will be $42,295. Meanwhile, the base price of the Silverado 3500HD in the WT trim level and with the same engine and drivetrain configuration will be $43,495.

The most expensive version of the Silverado 2500HD, the Crew Cab Long Bed High Country with the turbocharged 6.6L V8 L5P turbodiesel Duramax engine and four-wheel drive, is now priced from $79,945. Meanwhile, the priciest Silverado 3500HD, the Crew Cab Long Bed High Country with the turbocharged 6.6L V8 L5P Duramax diesel engine, four-wheel-drive and dual rear wheels, now starts at $82,345.

The 2023 Chevy Silverado HD began rolling off the assembly line on July 18^th, 2022, GM Authority confirmed previously. Production of the Chevy Silverado HD takes place at the GM Flint plant in Flint, Michigan, and, more recently, at the GM Oshawa plant in Canada as well.

GM has introduced minor changes to the Chevy Silverado HD for the 2023 model year, removing certain cosmetic options from the nameplate’s order books. The automaker will introduce an updated and enhanced version of the full-size truck for the 2024 model year, which will introduce more up-to-date exterior styling, a revised interior that takes after the light-duty 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500‘s, and updated versions of the existing powertrain options. This future revised model will stick with the current truck’s familiar T1 platform.
