All-New 2020 Corvette Colors: First Look

The online configurator for Chevrolet’s all-new 2020 Corvette C8 Stingray is live, giving us our first official look at the new sports car’s color palette. In all, the all-new C8 Corvette color palette consists of twelve exterior colors, including three gloss options, seven metallics, and two premium tintcoats.

The 2020 Corvette colors include:

  • Long Beach Red Metallic Tintcoat
  • Sebring Orange Tintcoat
  • Arctic White
  • Ceramic Matrix Gray Metallic
  • Blade Silver Metallic
  • Black
  • Accelerate Yellow Metallic
  • Shadow Gray Metallic (which we saw in the wild yesterday)
  • Torch Red
  • Rapid Blue
  • Elkhart Lake Blue Metallic
  • Zeus Bronze Metallic

Eight of the twelve 2020 Corvette colors are included in the price of the all-new C8 Stingray supercar, with the exception of four hues: Long Beach Red Metallic Tintcoat, Sebring Orange Tintcoat, Accelerate Yellow Metallic, and Rapid Blue. These are extra-cost colors. We should also note that the Rapid Blue color option will have late availability on the new mid-engine Corvette.

  1. I hate white cars, but GM keeps making cars that are irresistible in white! love the looks!

    1. White cars are the most visible day or night. Think of that color as an additional safety feature!

      1. Both of my Corvettes are white. I even had my carbon fiber rear panel painted white before I picked up my C7 at the dealer.

White is safer, cooler and doesn’t show road dirt. jg

  2. That’s first time I’ve seen a yellow car that I like. The high-visibility-yellow is way nicer than McDonald’s yellow.

  3. Seven interior colors! Why can’t all Cadillac do that?

  4. I love the new Corvette I am glad Tom PETERS got to go out on top I just wish Gm could put as much passion an design into there truck line why have there best selling vehicle the one with the least thought when it comes to the interior

  8. Zeus Bronze Metallic is now one of my faves!

  9. love them, though I would love to see a purple.

  10. Since a red interior isn’t available on half the colors, the seat color should have been changed on the configure tool when the exterior color was changed. Can’t wait to see what replaces Zeus Bronze in 2021.

  11. What is a “gloss” color?

So very happy about the interior options. The truck division should take the hint.

  12. My only complaint is there’s no manual.

    1. The DCT shifts faster than and more efficiently. The Z51 would never get a 0 – 60 time with a conventional transmission.

      1. I think that ruins all the corvette lovers who have been around a long time with 7 speeds! I just can’t imagine never ever buying a new corvette again because of the automatic. Really breaks my heart because I have loved only the corvettes for many many years. My life would feel empty without one in my garage.

    2. The manual is stored in the glove compartment. Did you lose yours?

  13. The Blue color of the pic above is perfect for the C8, Arctic white with black accents also is good

This type of yellow don´t like nothing, i prefer so much over; the Velocity Yellow of the C7

  14. “Elkhart Lake Blue Metallic”

That colour is straight up pornography. Love it.

  15. How about a green color?

  16. For me the Bronze is hot, it makes this Vette look rich

  17. Elkhart Lake Blue Metallic with comp seats in red and black with red interior accents will do nicely. The GM configurator must be one of the most visited sites this month.
The dark tint red is nice as well. They need some darker greys and darker silvers but it’s a good selection of launch colors.
While like likely to happen a gloss exposed carbon fiber body would be EPIC. LOL so would the price!! I’m sure the aftermarket crowd will knock one out sooner or later.

  18. Only thing good about the C8 is they left black black and the red red. They are beautiful cars but I don’t know where my furture holds with one without a 7 speed for all of those that love them.
As for the manuals in the glove box, guess what my 7 speed ZR1 has them in the back hatch. Never had that before.

  19. It’s interesting I remember when Porsche announced it was dropping the optional “stick shift” then their buyers complained and the sales were down but co with cOrvette buyers it’s been the opposite my Vette has a stick it’s much more fun tO control speed rpm’s
