The 2019 Cadillac XT4 is expected to be powered by a range of four- and six-cylinder turbo-charged engines mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission driving either the front or all wheels.
Engines
We expect the 2019 Cadillac XT4 to be powered by a turbo-charged four-cylinder engine as standard. A turbo-charged six-cylinder engine might be an option on an XT4 V-Sport variant.
A plug-in hybrid variant that has an all-electric range and then uses an onboard engine generator is possible.
Transmissions
We expect the 2019 Cadillac XT4 to feature the new GM 9-speed automatic transmission with manual mode.
Drive Wheels
The 2019 Cadillac XT4 will be driven by the front wheels as standard. An advanced all-wheel-drive system that can distribute power to the front or rear wheels, as well as between the two rear wheels, will be optional.
