Cumulative U.S. sales of GM’s Cadillac brand increased 9.5 percent to 12,300 units in April 2017.
It’s important to note that there was one fewer selling day in April 2017 compared to April 2016. The numbers listed in this report do not adjust for differences in selling days.
Retail sales increased 7.2 percent or 748 units to 11,124 units, representing 90.4 percent of total Cadillac sales for April 2017. That compares to 10,376 retail sales in April 2016, which represented 92.3 percent of total Cadillac sales.
Fleet sales increased 36.7 percent or 316 units to 1,176 units, representing 9.6 percent of total Cadillac sales for April 2017. That compares to 860 fleet sales in April 2016, which represented 7.7 percent of total Cadillac sales.

Individual model sales performance was as follows:
- Cadillac ATS sales decreased 19.11 percent to 1,405 units
- Cadillac CT6 sales increased 243.16 percent to 978 units
- Cadillac CTS sales decreased 34.61 percent to 873 units
- Cadillac ELR sales decreased 97.89 percent to 2 units
- Cadillac Escalade sales decreased 17.75 percent to 1,487 units
- Cadillac Escalade ESV sales decreased 6.51 percent to 1,121 units
- Cadillac XT5 sales increased 1709.54 percent to 5,501 units
- Year to date retail deliveries of the XT5 were 25 percent higher than the outgoing SRX
- Calendar year to date, XT5 ATPs are up more than $3,300 year over year compared to the SRX
- Cadillac XTS sales decreased 39.91 percent to 914 units
- Cadillac SRX sales decreased 99.36 percent to 19 units; the model has been replaced by the XT5

Having a increase in sells should make people on this site happy but I sure someone will have a issue with it.
I for one think it’s great and can’t wait until the new versions of these models come out
The increase is actually quite impressive given that most of the product line is quite old, with the exception of the XT5 and CT6.
Cadillac has a lot going for it, including the fact that it’s been turning out competitive yet not perfect product over the last 5 years.
And the XTS out sells the CTS once again. Maybe sales numbers wouldn’t be as low if dealers had actually kept some on the lot.
