The 2015 Chevrolet Silverado is offered with four different radios offering Bluetooth phone pairing capability. To pair your phone with the radio using Bluetooth, follow these steps.
Step 1: Identify Your Radio

Step 2: Follow Pairing Instructions For Your Radio
1. Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone or tablet
2. Pair your smartphone or tablet using voice recognition or infotainment system controls:
Pairing using voice recognition
You can pair your device to the radio using the vehicle’s voice recognition system:
- Press the Push to Talk button, wait for the tone, and say “Bluetooth”.
- The system will respond with “Bluetooth Ready” message followed by a tone.
- Clearly say “Pair”.
- The system will respond with instructions: “Please start a search on your Bluetooth phone. Once the search is complete select “Your Vehicle” on your phone.”
- Your phone will either ask to enter a 4 digit code, which is displayed on the radio screen, or to confirm a 6 digit code.
- The system will prompt you to give a name to your phone.
- Say a name that best describes your phone.
- For example, Karen’s phone.
- This name will be used to indicate which phone is connected.
- The system will ask you to confirm your name.
- For example, Karen’s phone.
- If you confirm that name, the system will respond with the message: “Device Name has been successfully paired”.
Pairing using radio controls
You can also pair your device to the radio using the vehicle’s radio controls:
- Press the HOME button.
- Select the PHONE screen icon.
- Select PHONES SETTINGS.
- Select “Pair Device”. The system will respond with “Pair.
- Start a search on your Bluetooth phone. Once the search is complete select “your vehicle” on your phone.”
- Your phone will either ask to enter a 4 digit code, which is displayed on the radio screen, or to confirm a 6 digit code.
- The system will prompt you to give a name to your phone.
- Say a name that best describes your phone.
- For example, Karen’s phone.
- This name will be used to indicate which phone is connected.
- The system will ask you to confirm your name.
- For example, Karen’s phone.
- If you confirm that name, the system will respond with the message: “Device Name has been successfully paired”.

- Say “Pair.”
- The system responds with instructions and a four-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN). The PIN is used in Step 5.
- Start the pairing process on the cell phone that you want to pair.
- Locate the device named “Your Vehicle” in the list on the cell phone and follow the instructions on the cell phone to enter the PIN provided in Step 3.
- After the PIN is successfully entered, the system prompts you to provide a name for the paired cell phone.
- Say a name that describes your phone.
- For example: Karen’s phone
- This name will be used to indicate which phones are paired and connected to the vehicle.
- Accept Bluetooth connection and/or phonebook download on your phone.
- The system responds with “Device Name has been successfully paired” after the pairing process is complete.
Pairing using radio controls
You can also pair your device to the radio using the vehicle’s radio controls:
- Press the HOME button.
- Select the PHONE screen icon.
- If no devices have been paired, this step can be skipped. If devices have been paired, scroll and select MANAGE PHONES.
- Press the button just below the PAIR screen button. A four-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) appears on the display. The PIN is used in Step 6.
- On the phone, look for “Your Vehicle” and select it.
- Enter the PIN provided in Step 4 on the phone.
- Accept Bluetooth connection and/or phonebook download on your phone.
- Radio will now display phone screen with phone name.
