The Cadillac CT6 receives various updates and changes for the 2018 model year.

2018 Cadillac CT6 Changes, Updates, New Features

  • Deletion of four exterior colors:
    • Red Passion Tintcoat
    • Phantom Gray Metallic
    • Moonstone Metallic
    • Dark Emerald Metallic
  • Addition of three new exterior colors:
    • Satin Steel Metallic
    • Stone Gray Metallic
    • Red Horizon Tintcoat
  • Addition of high-pressure washer to the rear-facing camera lens that provides the video feed for the CT6’s Rear Camera Mirror
  • Addition of auto-ventilated front seat functionality
  • Addition of automatic heated steering wheel
  • Leather-wrapped driver-side airbag cover on CT6 Platinum
  • Illuminated trunk sill plate is now installed at the factory, rather than an LPO-level item installed by the dealer
  • CUE infotainment system updated to version 2.6, enabling two new features:
    • Collection: essentially an app store for the CUE infotainment system, CUE Collection enables users to easily browse, select and install apps that enhance the driving experience. Using the vehicle’s touch screen, users can customize their content with music, audiobooks, weather and more (data plan rates may apply). CUE Collection is only available with the CUE system with navigation (IO6).
    • Teen Driver: a configurable feature that lets you activate customizable vehicle settings associated with a key fob to encourage safe driving behavior. The Teen Driver feature can limit certain vehicle features, and prevents certain safety systems from being turned off. An in-vehicle report gives you information on your teen’s driving habits and helps parents continue to coach their new driver.
  • Ability to turn Full-Speed Adaptive Cruise Control to Regular Cruise Control by the driver
  • Addition of pedal operation to Automatic Park Assist, meaning that the 2018 CT6 can now fully park itself without the intervention of the driver

2018 Cadillac CT6 Plug-In Changes, Updates, New Features

  • Addition of Cocoa Bronze Metallic exterior color
  • Addition of Cadillac User Experience (CUE) version 2.6, which includes CUE Collection and Teen Driver:
    • Collection allows customers to easily browse, select and install apps that enhance your driving experience so it gets better every day. Using the vehicle’s touch screen, you can customize your content with music, audio books, weather and more; data plan rates may apply
    • Teen Driver – a configurable feature that lets vehicle owners activate customizable vehicle settings associated with a key fob to encourage safe driving behavior. It can limit certain vehicle features, and it prevents certain safety systems from being turned off. An in-vehicle report gives you information on your teen’s driving habits and helps you to continue to coach your new driver
  • Brake pedal operation added to Automatic Parking Assist, meaning that the 2018 CT6 PHEV can now fully park itself without the intervention of the driver

  • Exterior color (GPA) Stone Gray Metallic (available at extra charge; no additional charge on Platinum; late availability)
  • Exterior color (GPJ) Red Horizon Tintcoat (available at extra charge; late availability)
  • Cadillac user experience (Info 2.6 version), includes Collection (only available with (IO6) Cadillac user experience with embedded navigation), Teen Driver and Over-The-Air Updates (OTA)

  • Auto ventilated front seat functionality
  • RPO Code (UVD) heated steering wheel, changes to RPO Code (KI3) automatic heated steering wheel
  • Leather wrapped driver-side airbag (Platinum only)
  • Full-Speed Range Adaptive Cruise Control with Regular Cruise Control (within [KSG] Adaptive Cruise Control; included in [UGN] Driver Assist Package)
  • Full-Speed Range Adaptive Cruise Control resume and engagement from stop
  • Plant installed illuminated trunk sill (Platinum only)
  • Automatic Parking Assist-adds pedal operation to automatic steering
