GM has just announced that The Durant Guild will be present and displaying its halo model lineup at the 2024 China International Import Expo (CIIE), the largest event for imported products in the Asian country.
The automaker’s premium import and lifestyle platform in China has confirmed its participation at the 2024 CIIE, taking place throughout this week at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. The Durant Guild continues its tradition at the country’s premier annual import event by showcasing a selection of its product lineup headlined by the new 2025 Chevy Tahoe launched locally in August.
“CIIE has afforded us an invaluable platform to explore growth opportunities in China,” said GM Senior Vice President and President of GM China, Steve Hill. “From making China premieres to opening The Durant Guild’s first store, GM has turned exhibits into products for sale as we focus on bringing our best models, technologies, and services to customers here,” he added.
In addition to the 2025 Chevy Tahoe as the vehicle that officially kicked off the commercial journey of GM’s new business, The Durant Guild will showcase three other iconic models from the company’s U.S. model portfolio at the 2024 CIIE. The selection includes the new 2025 GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate just confirmed for China, where it will arrive later this year to officially introduce the GMC brand to the world’s largest automotive market.
The full-size SUVs will be joined by the GMC Hummer EV SUV, which was unveiled for the first time in the country during the 2022 CIIE, anticipated as one of the next models The Durant Guild will import to China. The platform’s booth will also feature the Chevy Corvette Stingray and will be open to the public from November 5th to the 10th. The business arm has inaugurated the first Experience Center in Shanghai and will open more locations in 2025.
“The new brand entry, new product launch, and new store openings are just the latest milestones in our journey to bring The Durant Guild vision to life,” said President of The Durant Guild, Leon Li. “We are excited to continue co-creating diverse and meaningful lifestyles with our customers, building upon a foundation of shared aspirations,” he finished.
