A lineup cut back to two trim levels – LT and RS – and several other significant changes are introduced by the 2025 Chevy Equinox EV, the battery-electric crossover’s second model year. While the same three Chevy Equinox EV wheels are on offer as for 2024, availability has changed because of the trim level reshuffle.
The trio of 2025 Chevy Equinox EV wheels now includes a single standard roller option for each of the two trim levels. Additionally, one set of Chevy Equinox EV wheels is offered optionally, though only on the LT trim.
The 2024 Chevy Equinox EV wheels include two sizes, 19-inch and 21-inch wheels. The 19-inch wheels are standard for the LT trim, while 21-inch rollers are optional for the LT trim level and standard for the range-topping RS trim. The table provided here gives the details about the current lineup of Chevy EV Equinox EV wheels:
RPO Code | LT | RS | |
---|---|---|---|
19-inch aluminum wheel | REH | S | - |
21-inch machined aluminum wheel | RW4 | A | - |
21-inch Black painted aluminum wheel | RVV | - | S |
GM Authority previously revealed full pricing details for the Chevy Equinox EV, with the LT trim featuring a starting MSRP of $34,995. The RS trim level starts at $44,795, while the prices of both trims listed here include $1,395 to cover the vehicle’s destination freight charge.
Buyers can pick from several different optional packages in order to further personalize their Equinox EV. Among these packages is the Convenience Package II (RPO code 6K5), which carries a price tag of $11,400 for the LT trim and $3,095 when combined with the RS. It includes plentiful modern safety tech, alongside heated and ventilated seats, rear cameras, head-up display (RPO code UV6), and other features. The official configurator for the 2025 Equinox EV is live so that buyers can try out various builds before purchasing.
Front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive are both on offer for the 2025 Chevy Equinox EV, with a single motor powering FWD units and twin motors found in AWD configurations. Output has increased for the 2025 model year, with the FWD variant rated at 220 horsepower and 242 pound-feet of torque and the AWD configuration currently able to crank out 300 horsepower and 348 pound-feet of torque.
The technology giving the crossover motive power includes GM Ultium batteries and GM Ultium Drive motors, while under the body panels the vehicle rides on the GM BEV3 platform. Production takes place at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico.

I liked this post; 21″ wheels seem worth the price. Did not even know there was an Equinox EV. I like the sound of “Equine” “Knocks”. Not everything is Equestrian, ya know? In all seriousness, though, I’d opt for a Volt since I don’t have a reliable place to recharge. But I would opt for a Volt (or a residence where I can recharge).
Equinox meens equal night in Latin. It is the only two days in a year that the Sun shines exactly 12 hours on every point on Earth, and by default, every night is exactly equal (equinox) to 12 hours.
I recommend the 19 inch wheels. My local tire shop explained that larger diameter wheels needs tires that will cost more. And those tires has less sidewalls to keep the outer diameter constant. So for a larger wheel, you pay more for less rubber.
Ugly directional wheels!
