The 2025 GMC Sierra HD, following up on the truck’s 2024 mid-cycle refresh, introduces only a few updates and changes compared to the previous model year. This is GM Authority’s look at the available GMC Sierra HD interior colorways, which are slightly different from the interior colors offered in 2024.
The 2025 GMC Sierra HD interior colors and options include fifteen different combinations of colorways, materials and seat configurations distributed across the pickup’s seven trims. For reference purposes, these trim levels include the Pro, SLE, SLT, AT4, AT4X, Denali and range-topping Denali Ultimate trims. These trims get anywhere from one to four GMC Sierra HD interior colors, as shown in the following table:

Other changes include retiring Redwood Metallic (color code G48) from the list of 2025 GMC Sierra HD exterior paints. One new set of wheels is offered for 2025 while a trio of wheel styles available in 2024 has been retired. Furthermore, the 1SA Pro Safety Plus Package (RPO code PQA) for the Pro trim level and the Sierra HD Pro Safety Plus Package (RPO code PED) for the SLE trim level now include the Front Park Assist feature, widening is availability across the pickup’s trim levels.
Upfitters will be able to add custom functions to the truck with the optional Universal Vehicle Module (RPO code KGU), previously only offered on police vehicles and utility vehicles, not passenger variants of the Sierra HD. Now standard on four trim levels, rather than the previous two trims, and optional on the remaining three is the Adaptive Cruise Control with Trailering (RPO code KSG) system.
When it comes to mobility, two powerplants are offered on the 2025 GMC Sierra HD for motivation. These include the standard, naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine rated at 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque and the optional 6.6L V8 L5P turbodiesel Duramax engine providing 470 horsepower and 975 pound-feet of torque.
The Sierra HD is underpinned by the GM T1 platform for the 2025 model year as it was in 2024. The GM Flint plant in Michigan is the production site for the heavy-duty pickup model.

GM brought back the column shifter??
Never left on HD’s.
Why is Umber the only color choice for the Denail Ultimate interior? It’s nasty, especially if going with the Sterling exterior. They need to allow obsidian rush or jet black interior color as an option.
I would prefer the shifter on the consul
Why would you want a waste of space console shifter this to me looks modern and retro at the same time. As far as colors go the Ultimate should have more interior color choices people had more options in the 1970s on interior colors then they do now in 2024!
Gotta say, I agree. I’m not a huge fan of all black interiors, which seem’s to be the most produced. I had a ’22 AT4 w/Kalahari and it was “ok”. I didn’t like the satin chrome knobs or the white needled gauges. I thought they looked too much like a cheap Ram interior. I bought a ’22 High Country w/Umber & liked it a whole lot better. I currently have a ’24 High Country with the Nightshift Blue/Black interior & love it!, probably the nicest interior combo GM has, next to the Ultimate w/Alpine Umber. It seems like 90% of all the GM trucks on the used market have the Jet Black interiors, which is bland inmo…
The Brownstone would be a nice option also.
I say put the shifter back on the column or buttons in the dash area. I have a 2023 Denali 1500 with the console shifter, and it is a waste of space. I may or may not order a 2026 depending on the location of the shifter.
