Initially breaking cover last year, the 2024 Envista arrives as Buick‘s all-new entry-level crossover, offering up an array of premium features at a relatively affordable price point. That includes sleek styling inspired by the Buick Wildcat EV concept unveiled in 2022. Now, GM Authority is going over the exterior design and features for the range-topping 2024 Buick Envista Avenir with the following hands-on walk-around video.
The video is a little over eight minutes long, with GM Authority Executive Editor Alex Luft serving as host. In the video, Luft starts up front, showcasing Buick’s new design language. Highlights include a two-tier lighting setup, with sleek, narrow daytime running lights positioned above the primary headlamps. The grille features a dark chrome finish, adding a touch of sophistication. Avenir trims also incorporate additional chrome accents, while the Tri-Shield Buick badge is prominently displayed high on the nose.
Moving to the sides, the Buick Envista Avenir exhibits a coupe-like profile, with a roofline that elegantly slopes downwards past the B-pillar. Unique to the Avenir trim is body-colored wheel well trim and body-colored mirror caps. Chrome detailing extends along the window surrounds, also known as the daylight opening (DLO) treatments.
The rear of the Buick Envista Avenir continues the coupe-like design theme, featuring a shark fin antenna and a neatly integrated center high-mounted stop lamp. The two-tier tail lamp setup includes running lights on top and brake lights below, mirroring the setup seen up front. A built-in lip spoiler enhances the overall aesthetic. The rear also prominently displays the Envista nameplate, Avenir trim badge, and Buick spelled out alongside the new badge.
Further highlights for the Buick Envista Avenir featured here include 19-inch multi-spoke wheels, as well as a Watts link rear suspension for improved handling and ride comfort. All 2024 Buick Envista variants are powered by a turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine and ride on the GM VSS-F vehicle platform, while vehicle production takes place at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea.

Laughable, for the sticker price. Kill this trim level.
