The 2024 Buick Envista represents the first model year of the first-generation crossover coupe SUV in North America. In China, the 2024 Envista represents the second model year of the nameplate, since the Envista launched a year earlier in China than it did in North America.

Model Line
The 2024 Buick Envista is offered as a subcompact crossover SUV across the following trim levels:
- Preferred
- Sport Touring (ST)
- Avenir
Preferred models carry product code 4TQ58, Sport Touring are 4T458 and Avenir models get the 4TS58 nomenclature.
Changes, Updates, New Features
The Buick Envista is all-new for the 2024 model year. This means that the entire vehicle is new, from bow to stern.
That said, the Envista does recycle some parts from previously-available GM models, such as its 1.2L inline three cylinder engine and the six-speed automatic transmission.
Powertrain
The 2024 Buick Envista is powered by a single engine and transmission option.
Engine | Fuel | Aspiration | Transmission | Drivetrain | Power (hp / kW) @ RPM | Torque (lb-ft / Nm) @ RPM | Axle Ratio |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1.2L LIH I3 | Gasoline | Turbocharged | 6-Speed Automatic (MHN) | FWD | 137 / 102 @ 5000 | 162 / 219 @ 2500-4000 | 3.50 |

Production
Production of the 2024 Buick Envista kicked off on May 15th, 2023 at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea to supply the markets of U.S., Canada and Mexico.
A SAIC-GM facility in China continues to produce the vehicle for the local Chinese market.
Platform
Like all first-generation Envista models, the 2024 Buick Envista rides on the GM VSS-F vehicle set (platform). The architecture is shared with many front-drive GM models.
Seating
The 2024 Envista is offered in a single seating configuration that seats a maximum of five passengers in a 2-3 arrangement.
Standard on all trims, this setup features front bucket seats (providing seating for two), along with a 60/40 split bench seat in the second row (seating three).
Beyond 2024
We expect the current, first-generation Envista to remain in production through at least the 2029 model year, though the model’s lifecycle could be extended past that. A mid-cycle refresh will take place around the 2027 model year. Even so, it’s unlikely that a next-generation Envista will be developed with an internal combustion engine. Instead, we expect the next-gen Envista to switch to a battery electric powertrain.
