With a starting price of $46,195 for a base Essence model, the Buick Enclave is the Tri-Shield brand’s second best selling vehicle, with a total of 7,719 examples sold in Q4 2022. During the same timeframe, the average transaction price (ATP) for the full-size crossover was roughly $53,000.
According to a recent Cox Automotive report, the Enclave’s ATP rose just over four percent to $53,401 in Q4 2022, as compared to the same timeframe in 2021.
Buick‘s overall Q4 ATP figure barely shifted year-over-year, coming in at $39,295 in Q4 2022 compared to $39,304 in 2021. The Tri-Shield brand sold 26,921 vehicles during the same timeframe, representing a roughly six percent decrease over Q4 2021 numbers.

Meanwhile, total GM sales soared during Q4 2022. In fact, the Detroit-based automaker reclaimed its sales crown from Toyota for the 2022 calendar year after the Japan-based automaker temporarily claimed it in 2021. In regards to Q4 2022 ATP figures, GM posted $52,849 per vehicle. That’s down slightly from Q4 2021 numbers, but still represents a strong showing as compared to pre-COVID years.
As a reminder, the Buick Enclave features just one powerplant option, namely the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LFY gasoline. Peak output is rated at 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque, which puts the power to the ground through the GM nine-speed automatic transmission as standard. FWD is also standard, while AWD is optional.
Under the skin, the Buick Enclave rides on the GM C1 platform. Production of the 2023 Buick Enclave kicked off June 11th, 2022 at the GM Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan. Meanwhile, production of the 2024 Buick Enclave is expected to commence in June 2023 at the same assembly plant. Notably, the Enclave will be the last of three next-gen, full-size crossovers, with the redesigned Chevy Traverse and GMC Acadia expected to debut before the Buick.
