Hennessey Launches 2023 Cadillac Escalade Supercharger Package

The 2023 Cadillac Escalade is a true icon of the luxury SUV segment, offering sumptuous comfort and loads of curb appeal. However, for those owners that want to pair all that with an extra dose of supercharged adrenaline (without waiting for a new Escalade-V), Hennessey Performance Engineering has a solution.

The Texas-based tuner just unveiled its new 650 Horsepower Supercharged Upgrade for the 2023 Cadillac Escalade, upping the ante with a complete engine package that takes output from a factory-rated 420 horsepower up to 650 horsepower, dropping the 0-to-60-mph sprint from 6.1 seconds to 5.3 seconds.

The package fits GM’s ubiquitous 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine with a new 2.9L supercharger, complemented by a high-flow intake and intercooler, a new crankcase ventilation system, Chromoly pushrods, a new stainless steel cat-back exhaust, and returned engine management software.

In addition to an impressive 650 horsepower, the package also increases torque to 658 pound-feet. Properly applied, it’s enough to send the 2023 Cadillac Escalade down the quarter mile at 13.5 seconds, a full second quicker than the factory vehicle.

“Our team is very excited about this supercharging development for GM’s 6.2-liter V8, as it offers a huge audience of GM SUV owners the ability to bump power by an impressive 230 horsepower – that’s a 55-percent increase in power,” says Hennessey founder and CEO, John Hennessey. “Additionally, the improved torque increases drivability at all speeds and enhances towing. The H650 upgrade literally transforms sedate family SUVs into performance vehicles.”

The new package fits more than just the 2023 Cadillac Escalade – it will also fit the other models in GM’s current-generation full-size SUV lineup when equipped with the 6.2L V8 L87, including the Chevy Suburban, Chevy Tahoe, and GMC Yukon.

Each Hennessey supercharger upgrade also adds in a serial-numbered engine plaque, and a 3-year / 36,000-mile limited warranty. The total cost for the package upgrade is $27,950, excluding the price for the base SUV.

  1. Seems like a good deal when Cadillac Escalade V’s are going for $150K with “market adjustments.” Cadillac is printing money with Escalades in general, even more so with the V Series. You can save yourself at least $30K if you go with Hennessey.

  2. Don’t buy anything from Hennessey. Their customer service sucks after the sale. They offer little to no support on a vehicle they have modified. Any mods they do the good luck finding a dealer who will or can work on it. Especially if they change the tune. They don’t keep the stock tunes or give you the tuner or file. Nor will they tell you what parts they use ecause it’s “proprietary”. Speaking from personal experience here. The don’t even have a working website to access your vehicles build and have no idea when it will be working. That’s what they told me. Really disappointed.
