2021 GMC Yukon SLT Luxury Plus Package Built Out For Model Year

The SLT Luxury Plus package offered for the 2021 GMC Yukon full-size SUV is no longer available for the 2021 model year.

The SLT Luxury Plus package is tagged with RPO code PDP, and includes all the content of the SLT Luxury Package (RPO code WPL) and the Max Trailering package (RPO code NHT), as well as the Panoramic power sunroof (RPO code C3U).

Regular pricing for the SLT Luxury Plus package is set at $4,095.

As for content specifics, the SLT Luxury Package (RPO code WPL) includes the following content (relevant RPO code listed in parentheses):

  • HD Surround Vision (UV2)
  • Rear Pedestrian Alert (UKK)
  • Memory settings (A45)
  • Outside heated power-adjustable, power-folding, body-color mirrors with driver-side auto-dimming and integrated turn signal indicators (DXR)
  • Power tilt and telescopic steering column (N38)
  • Automatic heated steering wheel (KI3)
  • Second row outboard heated seats (KA6)
  • Second row power 60/40 split-folding bench seats (ATT)
  • Third row power 60/40 split-folding bench seat (AS8)

Meanwhile, the Max Trailering package (RPO code NHT) includes the following content (relevant RPO code listed in parentheses):

  • ProGradeTrailering System (ZL6)
  • Extra capacity cooling system (V03)

As a reminder, the latest 2021 GMC Yukon debuted in January of 2020, ushering in a brand-new fifth generation for the GMC Yukon nameplate. The all-new SUV rides on the GM T1 platform, and features an independent rear suspension with available four-corner Air Ride Adaptive suspension components.

Under the hood, the 2021 Yukon is offered with three engine options, including the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine producing 355 horsepower, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 producing 420 horsepower, and the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine producing 277 horsepower. All engines connect to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Both RWD and 4WD are available.

Production takes place at the GM Arlington facility in Arlington, Texas.

  3. Sounds to me that orders that are in the system are ok, buildout of the 21’s is supposed to be in October which is rather late.

  4. I suspect this means any order that doesn’t have a production date assigned won’t be scheduled. I just received a call from my GMC sales manager stating the Yukon Denali Ultimate I ordered in beginning of January wasn’t going to be built in the forseeable future. Thought GM was just having chip issues, but apparently they also can’t get the larger towing radiator or air suspension parts.

    He tried to talk me into taking a vehicle without those – not going to happen.
