The GMC Hummer EV accessories catalog will contain nearly 200 items. That much is according to a new report from Hummer fan site, HummerNation.com, which cites sources familiar with the supertruck’s accessories strategy.
Details about which Hummer EV accessories, in particular, will be offered are currently not available, but the publication does speculate that the catalog will consist of accessories typically offered by GM on its vehicles, including exterior, interior, and bed items, as well as various items that will be specific to the Hummer EV.
Revealed in late 2020, the GMC Hummer EV will on sale later this year. The range-topping Edition 1 model will be the first Hummer EV to become available; it’s set to arrive in the fall of 2021 and will be priced to start from $112,595. It will be followed by the $99,995 EV3X (set to launch in the fall of 2022), the $89,995 EV2X (set to launch in the spring of 2023) and finally the $79,995 EV2 (scheduled to launch in the spring of 2024). Each version can be pre-ordered for $100, but in the case of the Edition 1, all 10,000 registrations were snapped up within ten minutes of the reservation banks opening.
The Hummer EV pickup will gain an SUV version, which is expected to be officially revealed in an ad that will air during Super Bowl LV on February 7th. GM gave a real-life glimpse of that vehicle during the Barclays 2020 Global Automotive Conference on November 19th. The SUV is widely expected to be very similar to the pickup truck, featuring the same electric powertrain lineup while also offering the same trim level structure and features, except – of course – for the open bed.

Where did you get the information that there was 10,000 registrations snapped up in ten minutes for the edition one? From what I’ve seen GM said it sold out of reservations for the edition one in ten minutes and then separately said it had over 10k orders for the hummer ev which included all the orders for the ev3, ev2,and those that did not get a reservation but was on the waiting list . This article makes it appear that there is 10k edition ones being reserved when there is only a fraction of that is only going to be reserved and produced
I believe it comes from an interview with an anonymous dealership employee, after GMC had a National Dealership meeting to discuses the rollout of the Hummer where the 10k Edition 1 preorders were mentioned.
GM does not have this information readily available to dealers or council members its something they are extraordinarily tight lipped about .. I can tell you from all the dealers I’ve talked to theres no way there are 10,000 Edition 1 Pre-Orders. I’d bet the farm on it.
