With the Cadillac CT4 sedan now arriving at General Motors dealerships across the United States and Canada, the automaker is beginning to release more advertisements to promote the new compact luxury sedan.
GM recently released a new 30-second Cadillac CT4 ad entitled “Breakout Style” that depicts the sedan driving through a waterfall in slow motion. This ad lets the handsome exterior styling of the CT4 do all the talking, featuring no voiceover or loud music to distract the viewer from the four-door’s clean, chiseled lines.
The advertisement opens with a shot of the Cadillac CT4 approaching an aircraft hangar as a stream of water falls from the roof to the ground below. The CT4 then charges through the waterfall as close-up shots of the vehicle’s front fascia, doors and ducktail rear spoiler appear on screen in succession.
A short outro text then flashes on the screen, reading “Give your goosebumps… goosebumps.”
The Cadillac CT4 pictured in this advertisement appears to be dressed up with the Sport trim level. As we’ve noted in previous articles, the Cadillac CT4 adheres to the automaker’s Y-trim level strategy, which splits the trim lineup into Premium Luxury and Sport branches, while the Luxury trim serves as the entry-level model. However, unlike most Cadillac models, the CT4 doesn’t offer the high-end Platinum Package.
The CT4 in the ad is also sporting a Black Raven exterior color. Black Raven is one of the two no-cost color options offered on the CT4, with the other being Summit White. Metallic color options are a $625 premium on the CT4, while the Tricoat color options will run buyers an extra $1,225.
The CT4 comes standard with GM’s turbocharged 2.0L LSY four-cylinder engine, which is good for 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The CT4 Premium Luxury is also offered with a turbocharged 2.7L L3B four-cylinder that makes 309 horsepower and 348 pound-feet of torque. The performance-focused Cadillac CT4-V comes standard with the 2.7L engine, though it makes more power in this application, producing a healthy 325 horses and 380 pound-feet of torque. The 2.0L engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, while the 2.7L engine comes with the GM 10-speed automatic. Both RWD and AWD are available on the sedan as well.

Cool introductory ad. Hopefully there will be more. Hopefully this is not the only place we ever see it……
This video has been on the Cadillac website for a couple of months.
Looks like a smaller version of CT6.
absolutely agree.. which blows my mind that they aren’t making it just one more year minimum. Every time I pull up in my CT6-V people take notice and compliment.
Awesome that you have a CT6-V man, you’ve got a real legend there!
Thanks Bro. After coming from the FEROCIOUS ’16 CTS-V.. This is like its more mature but equally vicious, but calculating sister
I’m glad (and surprised) that Cadillac is actually advertising and promoting their new sedans. Nice to see.
There’s no doubt that the 2020 Cadillac CT4-V is a very nice car and while it may leave goosebumps, one has to imagine the CT4-V with a 650 hp supercharged 6.2L V8 shoehorned into it’s engine compartment which would transform the experience to breathtaking or they can just climb into a 2020 Chevrolet Camaro LS1.
