Bringing home a new canine companion is a surefire way to melt your heart, but doing it right can also be a pretty involved process. Luckily, there’s a slew of new technology offered by the 2019 Chevrolet Equinox to make the whole thing run a little smoother, as highlighted in this new Chevrolet ad break titled “Puppy Prep.”
At one-minute, 22-seconds long, the video clip highlights several ways in which Chevrolet Connected Services helps prep a young couple for puppy adoption. Unsurprisingly, the eager new doggy parents need a ton of new purchases, from chew toys and a fluffy little bed, to a collar and leash. However, if a critical product isn’t brought home from the store, the 2019 Chevrolet Equinox offers in-car delivery through Amazon, wherein GM vehicle owners can elect to have their order delivered directly to the trunk of their vehicle using the Amazon Key technology. For reference, in-car delivery is offered at no extra cost for Amazon Prime subscribers, and requires an active OnStar subscription.
Up next, it never hurts to “bone” up on a few training tips, so the couple decides to listen to an audiobook on the road. The Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system allows users to install a wide variety of apps, making it easy to access exactly the content wanted, including the ever-helpful “Puppies 101.”
And unless you’re a bloodhound, tracking down the adoption center can be tricky. Luckily, the couple simply enters the address into the myChevrolet Mobile App, and with a tap of a button, it’s sent to the in-dash navigation system in the 2019 Chevrolet Equinox.
The end of the ad is the best part. The couple finally finds their perfect little puppy friend, and as expected, the photos fly fast and “furryously.” To help share the cuteness online, the 2019 Chevrolet Equinox comes with the OnStar 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, which makes posting all those pics online a breeze.
If you’re curious about the 2019 Chevrolet Equinox and what it offers with regard to connected tech, or if you just love adorable puppies, then don’t rollover on this one.
