2019 Corvette ZR1 HPE1000 Seeks New Owner: eBay Find

The 2019 C7 Corvette ZR1 sits as the sports car’s halo. With 755 horsepower on tap from a 6.2-liter LT5 supercharged V8 engine, it’s also likely a swan song for the front-engine Corvette as we know it. But, like so many companies, Hennessey Performance Engineering never though 755 hp was enough. That’s led us to the HPE1000 package.

And this one is for sale. This 2019 Corvette ZR1 HPE1000 features all the upgraded internals to squeeze 1,000 hp from the sports car. Listed for sale on eBay, the seller says just 1,000 miles have been put on the car since new and the Corvette ZR1 HPE1000 is also wrapped in XPEL clear protection to protect it from unwanted dings and scratches.

Along with 1,000 hp on tap, the car also makes 966 pound-feet of torque to push drivers back into the headrest, should he or she mash the accelerator. HPE has included a laundry list of upgrades to make the substantial power figure including a larger supercharger, custom camshaft, ported heads, new valve springs, intake and exhaust valves, a high-flow intercooler system, long-tube headers and more.

Final calibration comes from HPE itself and the performance upgrades are enough to clock a 0-60 mph time of 2.5 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 9.7 seconds at 147 mph, per HPE. The Corvette ZR1 HPE1000’s top speed is in excess of 220 mph.

Right now, the “buy it now” price sits at $195,000, a hefty premium over the standard Corvette ZR1. This example is also fitted with the optional ZTK performance package, too. But, this isn’t where HPE stops.

No, in fact, the tuning company also offers an HPE1200 package for the 2019 Corvette ZR1. The HPE1200 package swaps the standard 6.2-liter LT5 supercharged V8 engine for a 7.0-liter V8 with a massive supercharger and similar upgrades found in the HPE1000 package. And for those looking for just a little more power, HPE also offers an HPE850 package, too.

  2. That price is cheap compared to what foreign supercars are selling for.

BTW, what is wrong with all these “captcha” tests? I went through eight “buses” and “road signs” verifications!!!

  3. I wonder how much Hennessey Performance spends to get their cars on these websites. It’s not like they’re the only ones that can do this and given his very checkered past, I can’t imagine why so many websites still continue to cover him other than money.

  4. If your going to modify a C7 to this degree, a C7 ZR1 is NOT the car to do it to. The Z06 with the Z07 pkg would be my choice to achieve the same level of performance for a lot less $$ and surprise any other Z06 or ZR1 owner, while spanking most of the imports too. $195K……NOT.
