Not everyone has been a fan of the 2019 Camaro refresh, and the internet has had a field day doing what it does best: poking fun, getting creative and making memes.
We decided to round up the five best reactions we’ve spied since the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro made its debut on Monday. The images below speak for themselves, but they do not explicitly express GM Authority’s opinion. Without further ado:

The front-end on this SS is an abomination. Cheap, black plastic with no color to speak of? Horrible, just horrible. Let’s forget the 6th Gen even existed!
the 16-18 is just fine, and in many way far better in looks than the 5th gen. Lets just say forget the refresh 6th gen. Try hard as I can not too, the more I see it the more I dislike it.

I like the Ford/Chevy one the best. I just noticed, the Camaro6 forum has the photoshopped fixed version of the SS in black, red and white colors now! Not just the blue one floating around yesterday. These fixed versions look Awesome!

It’s an improvement but the ’16-’18 SS front end is still the best IMO. I’ll bet used ’16-’18 Camaro prices are about to go through the roof.
Someone at GM needs to lose their job over this. Probably more than one person. Probably at least one high level executive. If they aren’t fired then it’s a bad sign for GM’s ability to avoid bankruptcy in the next recession.

I have a 2010 and it still looks ssoooooo much better than anything that has been built since..

Yeah the “Reactions” are by folks who probably drive something weak.
making fun of a performance car with a world class chassis. It’s a RWD drive coupe with 3 great engines to pick from.
The 6th Gen Camaro Refresh regardless of the front fascia is still way better looking than most automobiles in production.

As some others have said: Camaro6 has some photo-shopped images with painted centre bar and most importantly moving the Bowtie to upper grille or eliminating it altogether which improves the look a lot…especially on a black car.
Having said that…both Ford and Chevy did poor jobs with refreshing the 18 Mustang and 19 Camaro as far as looks go.
I’d rather keep my 12 Mustang GT Premium or look for a lightly use CPO GT350 or ZL1 if not improved when I’m ready to upgrade.
The 2019 Camaro and the 2019 Mustang are competing on how ugly you can design a car in 60 seconds.
I can’t really decide wich car is uglier than the other…
