We have a feeling Chevrolet may have a performance-oriented pickup of its own in the works, but Specialty Vehicle Engineering has something available right now. Building on its portfolio of Yenko-branded cars, SVE introduced its Yenko Chevrolet Silverado with 800 horsepower.
Power comes from a 6.8-liter supercharged LT1-based engine and SVE has installed a host of other performance enhancements. The Yenko Silverado sports a lower ride height, Brembo brakes, Rancho shocks and a custom front sway bar.
And thankfully, SVE will only build the Yenko Silverado in standard cab, short box guise with the Z71 package. As for colors, any factory color Chevrolet offers will be available. Custom Yenko graphics and badging adorn the exterior to let onlookers know this isn’t a regular Silverado.
Like most of SVE’s vehicles, the company will limit Yenko Silverado production to 25 units, and they’ll likely sell out mighty quick.

Shades of the fabled “409”….
Would have been nice if you could have provided more pictures.
Or at least a link to more pictures.
I found a few more pics, and a link.

Wished they would do it in a crew cab…..
Why do these companies always add their tacky add ons? Why not just give the truck the power and leave it at that? The stock look of the Z71 package is way better looking that this with those wheels, color, cheesy dual exhaust, hidious graphics, ect.
SCA Performance build a 421 model Silverado. Very nice truck!
What’s the cost?
WOW!! Finally a performance truck from GM! Too bad it has to be made outside and limited numbers, with, which I am sure, an astronomical price. Maybe someday you will learn from FCA to make something like this in house and make reasonable numbers of them, at reachable prices.
Just build a short box 2wd truck with a 6.2 with a S/C option. 420 hp is plenty for most people and a 600/700 hp for gear heads like us!
I just wish you could pick any option of engine for any truck configuration.
My question is why can’t you pick and choose truck engines?
PLEASE BUILD ME A TRUE PERFORMANCE TRUCK!
I currently own a 2016 Z06 Corvette convertible, love the performance but had rather drive my truck!
I would buy one today with the engine and transmission my Z06 has.
Says nothing on the site about a transmission upgrade. Goodbye tranny. Why can’t they leave these stock on the outside? I like my 17 High Country just the way it is. Those wheels, the stupid word Yenko and the badges have got to go.
I love it I think the traditional flashback to the YSC days is great on the truck. I think they should have dropped it down a lil to give it that hotrod stance though
