Chevrolet has earned the Best Design Award 2016 for its “Era of the New Evolution” themed booth at the 37th Bangkok International Motor Show. The award was presented by Dr. Prachin Eamlumnow, president of the show’s organizing committee, to Piphat Lorkrailert, Senior Marketing Manager of Chevrolet Sales Thailand.
“We are honored to win this award again,” Piphat said. “We always take pride in how we present the Chevrolet brand and products at the Motor Show, and this year is no exception. Motor show booth design, like the automotive industry itself, is highly competitive. So, we raised the bar even higher this year. We very much appreciate the recognition for it.”
Chevrolet used the booth as the perfect runway for the new Colorado Xtreme and Trailblazer Premier show vehicles. Both vehicles fit the “Era of New Evolution” theme quite well, as they represent two very new directions for the popular pickup truck and SUV segments.
On the days when the show was open to the public, Chevrolet put on an entertaining performance with the concept of “Iron & Fire” as its inspiration. This concept combines the art of synchronize street tap dance, creating sound and rhythm was partly inspired by automotive manufacturing.
The booth also featured a Smartphone Integration Kiosk Demonstration that showcased Chevrolet’s MyLink technology, which is 30 percent faster than the previous system, and offers the use of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto applications. The new highlight of the booth, however, is the Accessorized Car Zone, which gives customers the chance to customize and accessorize a vehicle to fit their personality.

I would appreciate the picture more with just the CUV with the award sitting on a stand next to the truck because the CUV is the star.
