National Corvette Museum To Break Ground On Holley Control Tower

The National Corvette Museum is dedicated to building a Corvette haven for everyone, and that became apparent with the addition of the NCM Motorsports Park. But they haven’t stopped there. Additional sponsorships and investments have allowed for grander things to take place at the Motorsports Park, and the Holley control tower is the latest addition.

Holley announced last year it would sponsor a control tower project for the NCM Motorsports Park with an undisclosed amount of money being provided. Though, the entire project is said to cost $18 million when finished.

The control tower will also be built alongside a new event center, also sponsored by Holley, and the pair of additions will begin construction on May 28th, 2015. The NCM will hold a ground breaking ceremony for both the tower and event center, and invites everyone to join from afar.

Through the Periscope iOS application, the announcement and ceremony may be viewed live. The NCM will also tweet the live broadcast link through their official twitter handle: @ncmmsp.

The control tower and event center joins the ongoing pavilion construction at the Motorsports Park, and a Mobil 1 race fueling station.
